I still occasionally make a ‘Keto’ type dessert (Cheesecake in particular) for a special occasion. I can take it or leave it. In the beginning I found that the artificial sweeteners just prolonged my taste for sweetness. Only after I dropped the sweeteners, did my cravings disappear.
Congratulations on 2 months without sugar! I have tried to do that over and over but I am such a sugar addict it’s impossible for me. I swear it’s as hard to give up sugar, if you’re an addict, as it is to quit smoking or drinking alcohol.
Love Gourmand’s! Cutting out the sugar gets easier as you go… I cut it out in May and I’ve lost 30 lbs and I feel so much better. I love all the fragrances you mentioned in this video! 😊❤❤

Oh I am so excited for the Lemon/Citrus Gourmand video!! I've been OBSESSED lately. I just bought Lira & Hufflepuff... also picked up the Dapper clone for Akro Bake, but now it just made me want the original lol... and Unknown Pleasures is on my list to get next. All of them are amazing and different enough for me to have all of em 😚 I almost bought Frank Boclet Tonka & the Vanille one - but then you said it wasn't as good as the others so I'm holding off on that. And L de Lolita Lempicka is really nice too, but I love a beast-mode fragrance and I just wish it lasted longer. That one reminds me of Unknown Pleasures somewhat (spiced lemon/vanilla gourmand)... the Ex Niholo (spelling? 😬) is just expensive for a 30ml! And I'm not not sure I'm about that. Hufflepuff was already a stretch lol

The only one I've tried here is girl of now shine. I want to try the Milano fragranze, I have basilica from them and I've tried a few others that I've really liked or thought interesting. Panettone sounds really easy to love. I wonder how well miel extase is selling, it sounded pretty likeable compared with chocolate queen. I still didn't try what about pop, but my friend send me date delight and it makes me think of fruit cake / Christmas cake mixes. It's very much a bakery smell to me, really very lovely 😊
Can you suggest me something like hypnotic poison but more powerful. I just bought the OG though the silage has been a little disappointment and so does the staying power. Also I want it to evolve like Carolina Herrera’s good girl. Hi Jackie, I bought Chocolate Queen, sprayed it once and then put it away. I was not impressed with it, because on my skin the woods are very dominant. I hardly get any of the gourmand notes. I want to give it some more wear, because I did buy it in the summer. Also, in the dry-down it smells very much like Dolce Passione, which oddly I like better. I hope you get a sample of that one as I would love to hear your thoughts on it. So yeah, CQ is on the chopping block.
Panintone was a surprise for me. I first tried it from a stupid dabber sample vile & all I got from it was raisin toast. Not bad, but not what I wanted to smell like. Then I saw one of you talking about it & so I pulled the same sample out & gave it another try. It blew me away! The rum & other notes came in to really make it special. Getting my full bottle sometime this month. Looking forward to your lemon video 😁
Oh like you, I am a sugaraholic. Hope you update us on that journey - I am interested in learning more. I love the Joussets - Creme de la Berry is straight up Frakenberry strawberry marshmallow cereal to me. When were young my sisters and I always fought over the Boo Berry, Count Chocola, and Frankenberry (which was my fave!). This fragrance takes me exactly back there. I love Italica too. I bought a nice decant and worked my way through it last year and now I have to pull the trigger. I have been on the search for a perfect chocolate. I just got Chocolate Greedy as a sample from Lucky Scent and I like it but I think I might have to try Queen too. Bianco Latte is my everything. I purchased early in the hype train and I can't begin to tell you how many times I get stopped wearing that fragrance . People are obsessed with it when I wear it out!
I love What About Pop… but there is something in the drydown that I noticed that I didn’t really jive with… hoping that the one I have is smoother now 😊

I really don’t believe in safe blind buys. It’s always a risk. You just never know …. I’ve had fragrances I was sure I’d love but just didn’t mesh well with my chemistry. I don’t know about motor oil…. 😆 I don’t get anything that even remotely resembles that. But everyone is different! ❤️

I tested Bianco Latte and loved it. Then I purchased a full bottle from Scent Split and it’s terrible. It smells like playdoh but in the worst way and that’s aaaaall I’m getting. I’ve ordered samples from SS before and never had problems but I cannot believe this is authentic. So disappointed. Has anyone had a similar experience with Scent Split? UPDATE: I think it is going to be OK. I sprayed it several times and I’m letting it sit. It seems like it’s a little better now. And maybe I even have to wait longer. The sample was so pretty and lasted a long while so my expectations were different. this one was sort of minty on top and didn’t last at all at first. I am hearing that there’s some kind of gas at the top that Hass to be released when you first spray some of these fragrances. It would be helpful for me if you would post a comment if anyone gets a bottle.

I’ve stopped in the past. It suck’s at first, but then you don’t crave it any longer. The problem is sugar is in EVERYTHING these days that it’s so hard to truly avoid it any more. I surrendered to sugar drug lords 🥹

Sugar is a drug. The detox is real! I admire your ability to stick to it for 2 months. And I wish you the best of luck navigating the holiday season!!! A few years ago I gave up all candy and soda. I'm pretty sure that having this amazing circus peanut scented lip balm is what got me through that time. It was such a realistic candy scent. I legit feel like it helped me get past the first few weeks of sugar withdrawal. I'm kind of amazed that no one has yet come up with a fad diet that uses gourmandy lip products and perfumes as an alternative to unhealthy food choices... Though maybe that would really only work for fragheads. 😊
WDYM... bianco latte literally means white milk. "Latte" is short for Cafe Latte... which means coffee (espresso) with white milk. The same as "mocha" refers to cafe mocha ie coffee with chocolate milk.

its interesting that these are still hyped a year later. i tried dolce diablo last winter but was too boozy for me also tried what about pop but it was also a bit floral didnt love it and tried it last fall but i know your scent changes in a year alot of times. i had venom of love last fall and sold it but it was too literal for me but now i am craving smelling it lol I love Bianco Latte i have the perfume and it smells amazing on me and everyone compliments me. It is so good i also dont get much musk just that it is airy and i cant wear it in warm weather. I tried Panettone last month it made me very nauseous i really hated it sadly we have alot in common I also got girl of now shine last winter around the holidays. it is lovely but its a perfumey gourmand and on me it is super strong and potent. im annoying sorry lol
Ive been off the sugar and eating better for 3 months now. Its the holidays that are gonna be the hardest. Those hilodays are all about the sweet foods.
Yes 😞 and I love holiday sweet foods. But I’ve been reading a lot about the dangers of sugar to the body and mind and how processed sugar has zero nutritional value…. It’s basically poison. So, I’m going to stay strong! You can do it!

Miel Extase was a No for me 🙈 I love honey and gourmands and enjoy boozey fragrances too. But there was something in it that came off weird to me. I resold it already. But I do have Raised Spirits on my list ♡

I agree that sandalwood is perfect in Chocolate Queen…the right amount to blend all the delicious food/dessert notes together into a perfume. It’s really what prevents it from being nauseating. 🤎

It’s been tough. I just had to go through the pain of withdrawal. It’s difficult, but if you can make it past the first week it gets better.
Meil and Dulce are super different to my nose.
I definitely smell more differences than similarities.

I tested Bianco Latte and loved it. Then I purchased a full bottle from Scent Split and it’s terrible. It smells like playdoh but in the worst way and that’s aaaaall I’m getting. I’ve ordered samples from SS before and never had problems but I cannot believe this is authentic. So disappointed. Has anyone had a similar experience with Scent Split?
UPDATE: I think it is going to be OK. I sprayed it several times and I’m letting it sit. It seems like it’s a little better now. And maybe I even have to wait longer. The sample was so pretty and lasted a long while so my expectations were different. this one was sort of minty on top and didn’t last at all at first. I am hearing that there’s some kind of gas at the top that Hass to be released when you first spray some of these fragrances. It would be helpful for me if you would post a comment if anyone gets a bottle.
It’s possible your new bottle needs to oxidize. Spray it about 10 times then let it sit for a few weeks. Hopefully that helps!

A few years ago I gave up all candy and soda. I'm pretty sure that having this amazing circus peanut scented lip balm is what got me through that time. It was such a realistic candy scent. I legit feel like it helped me get past the first few weeks of sugar withdrawal. I'm kind of amazed that no one has yet come up with a fad diet that uses gourmandy lip products and perfumes as an alternative to unhealthy food choices... Though maybe that would really only work for fragheads. 😊
I can’t tell if my gourmand perfumes help or just make me more hungry. Lol I’m hoping soon I’ll just lose my desire to eat sweets altogether. 🤞🏼
WDYM... bianco latte literally means white milk. "Latte" is short for Cafe Latte... which means coffee (espresso) with white milk. The same as "mocha" refers to cafe mocha ie coffee with chocolate milk.
While I do understand what a latte is, I simply stated it doesn’t smell that way to me. I don’t get the milk or lactonic feel on my skin.

its interesting that these are still hyped a year later. i tried dolce diablo last winter but was too boozy for me also tried what about pop but it was also a bit floral didnt love it and tried it last fall but i know your scent changes in a year alot of times. i had venom of love last fall and sold it but it was too literal for me but now i am craving smelling it lol I love Bianco Latte i have the perfume and it smells amazing on me and everyone compliments me. It is so good i also dont get much musk just that it is airy and i cant wear it in warm weather. I tried Panettone last month it made me very nauseous i really hated it sadly we have alot in common I also got girl of now shine last winter around the holidays. it is lovely but its a perfumey gourmand and on me it is super strong and potent. im annoying sorry lol

Yes 😞 and I love holiday sweet foods. But I’ve been reading a lot about the dangers of sugar to the body and mind and how processed sugar has zero nutritional value…. It’s basically poison. So, I’m going to stay strong! You can do it!
@@jaxbeautifulyou I'm on keto so I'm missing out on a lot. My triglycerides went from 656 to 50 though. That's why my diet had to change. Feel so much better. Miss bread though and potatoes

Miel Extase was a No for me 🙈 I love honey and gourmands and enjoy boozey fragrances too. But there was something in it that came off weird to me. I resold it already.

I agree that sandalwood is perfect in Chocolate Queen…the right amount to blend all the delicious food/dessert notes together into a perfume. It’s really what prevents it from being nauseating. 🤎
