Chasing the 40th Anniversary Unit GP38-2 2023 on Reading & Northern's North Reading Fast Freight

A short Chase of GP38-2 2023 hitching a ride back to Pittston on the North Reading Fast Freight. 2023 Had gone south on a North Reading Fast Freight for it's 92 day inspection.
Cam and I would catch 2023 going back North to Pittston.

Beautiful scenery to compliment R&N's locomotives. Just wondering, is 2023 a former Conrail unit?

Yeah some days in the rain the colors pop, helped getting a complete green lashup all in fresh paint. Correct, 2023 is ex Conrail 8214 and Was 2016 while in NS black and white on the RBMN. Glad you enjoyed Cris take care.
