This clip reminds of alfred leaving in dark knight rises because he wouldn’t be able to live knowing that he played a part in allowing Bruce to kill himself in such a horrible decision

People are commenting that this is reminiscent of breaking bad, and while that is true, its actually very difficult, and crucially so, in one aspect, and thats bruces confidence, he isnt putting on a show here like walt is to skyler, he isnt trying to intimidate or prove anything, because in this case he’s actually right, thats what batman is, and this was likely a pivotal moment where alfred realises that bruce wasn’t really bruce anymore.
All this to say, this is the moment bruce wayne became batman.
Batman could stop all that but he just too stubborn to be effective

He's the only person I'd accept to take the cowl of Arkham Batman. He's already played the character, and did a damn good job doing so.

@@Shendue Agreed on all points. But I kinda liked the clunkiness. It felt appropriate to a younger, somewhat less experienced Batman. And I thought it translated well in the combat. His punches felt chunky and solid. Less refined.

The voice acting and writing is AMAZING.
Both have valid points here. Alfred loves Bruce and fears for his life, and Bruce knows the only way to relieve Gotham's distress is Batman. There's no good outcome from this.

Love makes us crazy protective over the ones we love. It's hard to let go of them sometimes, but you can only learn through moments of real life experience. Alfred is having one of those lessons/moments rn in this clip. We're only human :)

I won’t lie this is probably my favourite scene in the Arkham series
Ik Origins isn't the favourite but the performances and writing are phenomenal. The game itself is a little bit of a glitch mess but the characters are on point from Batman and Alfred, to The Joker and Bane

Arkham Origins is so underrated.
This game is so underrated not just in gameplay but the story and the acting.
The gameplay is ripped directly from city with a few additions or alterations like electric gloves and freeze grenades becoming glue grenades.
Alfred is the only one who got the balls to say whatever he wants to Batman and still wake up peacefully the next morning with his life and all of his bones perfectly intact 😂
