Jolly good to see a new, spiffing video from you. Mission 18 is actually "earn the Winged Legend achievement". Defending a full health sector earns capture points. The health of the sector does not need to be depleted.
Wow! Interesting timing! I for the first time logged in today in a long time. Was due to WOT maintenance. had a few games at tier 5, I bought the duck, was trying to get one of those missions for gold. I need like 3 tier 3 level or something like that. Don't know if i will end up doing this, but still cool seeing an upload from you and playing the game again. Cheers!
Nice to see you back in action! Thanks for the vid, and see you in the skies. P.S.: I am fairly certain that defensive kills obtained in full health blue sectors still count as 40 caps towards your personal stats, even if they do not count towards the sector flipping (or not flipping in this case). I'll have to pay attention and verify this next time I run into this situation.
The question is settled - the caps count even when the sector is full health. Not super consequential to the Vogel missions, but good to know. J/k it's a very important matter and it was the most useful thing I could have done with my time :P th-cam.com/video/46V5vM1pjDI/w-d-xo.html
Very nice to see that Postal Monkey is back. I hope his real world life has improved so he has time to make a few videos now and then. Maybe he'll flight up with players other than Sniper Son.
Glad you are making videos again. Disappointed that the bomber class is still OP. I left the game because I was tired of seeing the same people at high tiers playing nothing but bombers.
30 bomber kills (mission 14) is best with the Archipelago map that has the center mine. The bombers always go to the mine so fly heavy fighters like the P-61 to get 6 or more bomber kills. Same for the 4 heavy fighter kills in a single battle (mission 19).
@@markbrandon5236 4 heavy fighters is easy on low player hours with the Goose or the XF-90. I personally get it first try with the XF-90 if I am on a tier 9-10 match. Other good planes are the Ho229 and the Ki-102
@@PostalMonkey Also, most tier 6 light fighters (P-51A, Bf-109F, I-210, Yak-1) have poor firepower, allowing it to have higher chance of survival. In comparison, the FW-190A5 has similar damage potential to the F7F and Hornet, which are tier 7 heavies. Lastly, the specialist version of the Dora doesn't allow you to pick between the 20mms and the 30mms. You are locked into the 30s which I personally despise because of their shitty ballistics...
Good for you for making it back. Personally, I cannot think of coming back and this video is just further reinforcement of my decision. The missions are just the same thing again and again and again. I know, I pine for the old days, but when the missions were mano-a-mano, they felt like you accomplished something. These things are just a massive grind and are really the cause of why I quit the game. Way too repetitive and, frankly, boring. For all of you still playing: Have at it and good flying. Perhaps someday I will come back, at least I watched the first 5 minutes of this video, so that is something, right?
@@PostalMonkey None - Literally no gaming. This was the one game that got my interest because I have a passion for aircraft. I decided I could spend my time doing more productive things, I guess.
According to Major Pain (th-cam.com/video/_7giu8ELXMo/w-d-xo.html) the Fw 190 D is such a very poor plane (thanks to the Russian devs. crippling it) so the pilot bonuses aren't going to improve this plane much unlike Akira Akane for the A6M5 or Elise Clark for the P-51D planes. I do agree that the 30 mission grind has some good bonuses but don't lose any sleep over it and certainly not worth buying any certificates.
Good to see you again Postal!
YES!! Literally just got back into WoWP last week and the Undisputed champ makes a comeback!!
Keep them coming Postal!
Great explanation, well done...glad you're back, hope all is well.
...and HE IS BACK! Welcome back Postal!
OMG! Look who is back! Glad to see You coming back. I hope You will stay with us a little longer...

It's incorrect on the web page? That's hilarious. Yeah, I haven't gotten to mission 18 yet so I didn't see the difference. Thanks!
@@PostalMonkey Not unusual for the WoWp team. I didn't realise until I watched your video and thought "I don't remember having to do that!".
Glad to help lol

Believe me or not. I was thinking when you be back. Greetings from Poland.
Good to see you back Postal!
This pilot looks nuts for the 190D. Only wished it wasn't for such a garbage plane! 😂
I love the Dora but I'm a little nutty lol
@@PostalMonkey It's a downgrade compared to the 190 A-5. Well, to be fair, the competition gets better, not the 190 worse
@dimitrisoikonomou3568 yeah that Tier VIII jump is substantial.
The A-5 is better against tier VII than the D is versus tier VIII

@dimitrisoikonomou3568 well, the new pilot will help that right? Plus when those 30s hit... Oh man do they hit?
The 190-D……ouch…on paper looks great. In practice very scary
Yeah, hitting Like on this! Hope to see ya up there sir! o>

Not 4 per side?
