I totally agree about the arthritis thing. If I don't have enough gain in saturation it feels like I have to press extra hard in order to get my point across
Holy shit man, I just looked this thing up and saw how rare it is! you may have said in the video, I just didn't get a chance to watch the entire thing yet.
Hi Jared. Great tone and awesome playing! I have this amp. I now want to get a multi-channel amp. Which amp do you think would be a great compliment to this Redseven The Dirt amp? Im seriously looking at the Headfirst Alta or the Engl SE FE. You said this Redseven amp is your favorite Marshall style amp. Do the high gain tones in the Headfirst Alta hang well enough in tone quality with The Redseven The Dirt? YOUR opinion would be highly valued. Thank you.
I currently own the proto00 of this amp and I love it. Its so damn good and has so much caracther. One Channel, diods mod and nothing more, What would you need more with a tone like that?❤ love it, period. By the way, you just reminded me that I need to change the power tubes in it😂
So my issue is the drive section of my pedal board: what works with my 28" scale @drop A, doesn't work for my 25.5" scale @ drop D or E Std. Even though I'm using the same emg 81s. Is this an issue that simply needs separate drive sections?
@jamesmoses4066 thank you. To your question, without having that other amplifier right next to this one, it's hard for me to give you a definitive answer, but backing the gain down would definitely be a good start. Sorry, I wish I had a better answer for you. This amplifier definitely has its own unique voicing. When they built it, they were listening to Dr Feelgood when they were dialing in the voicing.
@@TONEWARSgearshow Which of your packs that you sell for the quad cortex do you recommend for that hot rodded late 80s style tones, if you have any packs like that?
Sounds very good but not my personal style. I prefer the Splawns and Friedmans you have played. I can see how guys would really like these though. Great video.

JCM 2000 choke mod change that shit deep switch to an actual resonance pot boosted with an SD one will get you all that and just as good for under 1000 bucks and 50 more watts
Had the jcm2000 dsl with that mod and I have the dirt and I can say: no, they are defenitely in a different ballpark. Jcm200 is a good amp, I really liked it, but it doesn't sound like the dirt
That second guitar really made the amp shine even more. Sick lead tone!
I have 2 of these Bad Boys! Unreal! The clarity, cut, note definition, and note separation is second to none!
When I had my Marshall 1987X Plexi the best tone I ever got was just slamming the front end with a good ol' DOD 250. You can't beat it.
Excellent review of this amp Jarrod, this amp sounds awesome! Nice playing to.
Thank you! I'm finding a place for it on my shelf now

Get a 100w 5150 el34. You may find you don't need to dig in as hard
Love ya channel man - good humour, no bullshit - keep it up !!!!
Thank you!
I’m also goin to take a trip to motor city gtrs based on your recommendation- it’s only a couple hrs up the road from me

That is one of the best sounding amps i have heard in a while !
Sounds exceptional
That's nigh unto perfect, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Thank you. You really need to check this amp out

Great work! I bought the amp off this vid. Would you say the Grid slammer worked best to boost it?

Sounds really great. You should try a wet/dry series with two amps. Imagine that and the JEL in stereo!
Dude the tone you got on this is the best. How would you get a similar tone on the evh 5150iii stealth 50w?

Try a Dan Gower modded Marshall. Best ever at that sound. IMHO. That sounds great though too, just wish they were more available.
It’s super nice
I’ll stick with the Quick Rod I already own though
Would like to hear this up against the Monomyth JCM 800.
Love hearing you play!
Someday I'll get it out to him! lol

Love to see a shootout with the Jake E Lee amp
Is there a possibility of tonex patches coming from this?
Hey what would be the best overdrive pedal for a Marshall DSL 100 just wondering😊
Boss SD1 or Gridslammer depending on your pickups. Love my modded 100 watt.

Sweet. To access channel two just merely roll back the guitar volume knob.
Is that a new geetar?
Good question. I've had this guitar for years. I just rarely play it. I'm gonna start playing it more though.

It does not have master volume? I like the sound, but beimg a bedroom player it's unusable to me.
Things got massive girth.
I think that Mötley album was slo
Knowing Mick Mars it was probably that and a few other amps.. dude has a huge sound.
It was a 1973 Jose modded Marshall Superlead
You lost me at EL34.
It's a modded Marshall. Why would you expect anything else?
