4 year Linkedin employee here, great video, even my team was shown :P . Most of the info was correct but a few misses on comp side. Refreshers are not as good as Google, but they are decent in India, definitely a lot more than Microsoft. Also, SSE comp goes a lot more than 70, most of the newly promoted SSEs are in the range 60-70, even for new hires i know an SSE who was offered 84@7yoe. I also know a couple of SSEs getting 1+ but that is primarily due to appreciation. Anyway, great work, appreciate the effort. Also, take some rest 😛

Salary does not matter that much actually after certain limit, kam me maja aana chahiye! I know people have high packages and they end up paying high taxes with really low satisfaction from work. Do not study/work just for higher salary.

LinkedIn negotiate salary. They will give you in the range. Mentioned more or less. How ever, if you can find higher counter offers they are more than happy to increase their offers.

Yes many have. It definitely will require some amount of time and luck but with patience surely you can Circuit branches don't have any issue at all, like ECE and electrical can come into these companies very easily

@@SoumyajitBhattacharyay Just my view as the tech stack is java based so I don't know if current trends for ML, cloud is suitable with Java(not to mention java has been in decline from past couple of years in terms of adaptability among new comers). Plus I don't see fresher cracking interview in LinkedIn much often compared to other big techs. That's why I thought may be a fresher or 1 year experience would probably go after amazon or some other companies. Let me know your thoughts sir, I'm fairly new to this and would want to know much on this specific topic as well.
