I'm still not feeling it. I don't know what it is. Maybe I'm too stuck on the betrayal, I can't get into Top cause I hate him already. And Mew for me is coming across as too something, I can't put my finger on it, but it's low-key annoying me. I love the actors, it's literally just the characters personalities I don't like I think.
The part at the restaurant when Mew was using his senses is beautifully shot and played, it showed the feeling of falling in love... If Top is not such an ass, they really could become a sweet, romantic couple.

The restaurant scene is actually not easy to film. It's supposed to be a completely dark environment where you couldn't see the food and everything in your surroundings. The meal is also served by visual impaired people. Of course, for visual purpose they couldn't just show a dark screen with their dialogues, that's why some people can't understand what they were doing. Mew was basically using his senses to feel not only the food but also the person sitting in front of him.
Thanks for explanation, I was thinking what could be the concept behind this... eating in dark.

Oh my, that scene at the dark restaurant was done so well! We can actually see Mew fall in love. The storytelling and directing here is so well done! I can't insist enough how good this show is creative-wise. Film-making at its finest! It was also a nice touch to hear the sound of ice when Sand and Ray were talking and drinking from the red cups. The little details!! The birthday scene was also cute. Apt choice of song Ray btw! You and me both, I'm falling in love with Sand too! 😍
That "completely dark" restaurant has almost as much light as Walmart.

Aside from the big secrets and problems coming, I like that each little couple has different dates that match with their personalities, it's so fun. Like since sand likes music, sandray go to a concert. Since mew isn't the party type they (topmew) go to an interesting dining place.
