Welcome to the official Roll with Cole & Charisma TH-cam channel! Since the start of our relationship we've gotten a lot of questions about our experiences as not only an interracial couple, but an interabled one as well. I love how Charisma always reinforces how Cole helped her by keeping her company while she puts things together that he can’t physically do. That’s unity. Their marriage will last forever because of the genuine love they have for one another. The house looks amazing!

May I suggest some sort of heat resistant protective cover over Cole's lap when you're getting food from the microwave-a tray or mat? 🤔 Although he may not feel the pain if hot food or beverage spill on his legs/lap, a burn-minor or major could be problematic.

My daughter is blind and wheelchair user. When she was in The School for the Blind they always place a oven mitten gloves elbow length in front of her chest pinning it across the chest and one or two on her lap to protect her from the heat or hot spills even thought she never really cook anything while in school just when through the motion with plenty of tears. It was very difficult because the plate will slide off her short lap when moving and turning the manual wheelchair She is 32 now can't used her hands but she can shove something in the toaster oven or microwave with her fist. She is still very afraid of any heating element and her food has to be cool before eating it. I still have to prepared the food and believe it or not she hate store brought premade food. Spoil.
I'm a paraplegic and yes burns can happen so fast. When I cook I put a cutting board on my lap for moving hot things and when Im at the stove i always put a towel on my legs just in case some hot liquid may splash.
And the fact he doesnt feel it could be an issue as burns can get infected. How lovely of you to comment and think of Cole’s safety. (Although they may already have one!)
*TIP: You guys should put a handle right under the microwave so it’s easy for Cole to pull out with his hand.
That way he doesn’t have to use his arm and wrist to pull by pressing it up against it underneath.

I’m a magnet for spiders. I’m from Hawaii, which has TONS of spiders, one type being the Cane Spider; YIKES! Scary! The first time I was “attacked” by a spider was while I was sleeping in my bed. I had just returned back to Hawaii from the Newport News/Hampton area of Virginia where I had been going to college and my dad had retired from the Navy while I was gone, so my family had moved to a two-story townhouse outside of military housing and had to get rid of my waterbed so I was just sleeping on a mattress on the floor. It got me in just the right place...very low on my left butt cheek! I actually started feeling sick, then I realized that my left side was very sore then, when I got in my car, I wasn’t able to sit with pressure on my left butt cheek. I had my mom look at my behind and she was able to get up close and personal. I knew it was bad when she gasped and said, “OH MY GOD!” Apparently, it was about the size of a little more than a quarter and it had a very dark red circle around it, and it was full of hundreds of little blisters. I could only look in the mirror and turn around to see it and all I could see was what looked like a red circle that was gray in the middle; the grayness was all of the little blisters. Oh, and there were two red fang marks in the middle.
I moved to Iowa about 20 years ago and I have lost count of how many times I have been bitten by a spider. They always hurt, itch, welt, etc. they can easily get infected too. So if Cole can’t feel if a spider bites him, he may not know that he has a spider bite unless he or Charisma happen to see it.

Worth mentioning that if you can't feel your hands or any body part, you should check your skin regularly for wounds, pressure sores, and in this case splinters. Unfortunately, I can tell you from personal "first foot" experience, not having sensation is no joke.

I usually get a little jealous when somebody gets a new nice house like this because I'm not in a good situation myself. This is one of the few times I only feel happy for somebody because these people deserve this so much.

I grew up in a wheelchair friendly home (my dad was a quadriplegic) you and your wife remind me of my mom and dad so much. My dad was 21 when he was injured. You have a beautiful home!

1st time watcher & this is one reason I'll be binge watching. They show that having a disability is not the end of the world. We're just like you( yes I'm also a quadriplegic) & it definitely makes a difference if you have family & friends that support you.💜

I never thought about an *alternate emergency accessible exit* . I need to seriously get this going, however living on a tropical island... *typhoon* prone location, building codes dictates rebar enforced concrete structures, which costs a pretty penny! I wonder if there are any grants available that will assist me in making my home accessible for my paralyzed adult son since I am his fulltime Mother & caretaker and I've done pretty much everything on my limited retired budget to help him. This is a video my MIL should watch. 2 years ago my FIL fell and had a spinal cord injury, surgery on c3 & c4 of his spine. Currently recovering but making some progress. This is offering genius tips and tricks that could make many things easier for them.
My partner has an sci and even little adaptations can make a huge difference to independence and just general day to day comfort.

It's heartwarming to see how much work and thought you put in so Cole can be independent. My great-grandmother had a serious hip injury in her 90's. It made me appreciate the little things like making my own tea and cooking a meal.

Love is not about who gets more. It is about giving oneself with no expectation and that is what I see in this beautiful couple. I pray you have 2 or 3 kids because that is what completes your happiness as a person and as a family. I know having kids will be a challenge but when they are toddlers and you see their own personalities, you discover what each child took from mom or dad. Love to see little Cole and Charisma running around and when you grow old you have someone you could talk to for hours and hours about the hardships you went through but had overcame.
Can we get a video with "the mama's" helping with the wedding and talking about how excited they are!!!

My favorite flavor cookie is snickerdoodle. First learned about that from Barney the dinosaur Christmas special. Barney ,BJ and Baby Bop prepared snickerdoodle cookies...but I digress. 💖👍

Charisma and Cole are absolutely in love with one another. I feel in love with Cole n Charisma because they put out such positivity, funny loving, caring energy. When I find myself under the weather due to everything. I will look at Cole n Charisma videos and I find myself smiling or laughing.
