Good video Home! Glad Crytek hasn't worked you to death yet lol! This is particularly annoying when picking up a weapon which you are barely familiar with and cant check the stats of. People really dislike change so this backlash was to be expected, hopefully the team takes some of the feedback onboard and irons out/optimizes the UI as they did the legacy one.
I love that they added the compedater to the Henry Rifle finally, the Spencer was a great rifle and was actually adopted by the Ordinance for the fact it was more robust then the Henry. As powerful as it was the rifle still was a faster option then a musket, it went away because they figured it was too expensive and with propriatary ammunition it was going to be a hassle and they converted the take of weapon to the Springfield and upgrades, which lead to the Springfield Trapdoor. Over all a fine addition and should be a nice kit to mess with. I do note that with this update and bullet drop being added there are some scuffed things people havent messed with yet and I want to see it with a laugh, quad derringer now does minimal of 25 dmg (used to be 5) and had the same pen as a uppercut (for some reason within its headshot range specifically, cant pen metal), how does this play out now? This thing doesnt have a compact cal, doesnt have aim features the same or a barrel leingth, but it can 1 tap headshot. Honestly I really like almost all the changes but I honestly really didn't want the bullet drop. I didn't think we needed it and I feel like no one was asking for it.
The new UI needs its own guide, tbh. I am not sure what part of simplifying the interface includes making it even more complex and overloaded, but here we are. And the bullet drop... The mechanic itself is done nice. But in terms of balance it is bad. RIP Uppercut and Uppermat, since they are outclassed by Trueshot. Also a 10 times cheaper Springfield marksman with +$50 High velocity outguns a Mosin on large distances (so what's even the point of long ammo now?..) And they also broke levering and fanning. Again.
Pretty cool stuff. I wonder what the comments section has to say about it, I'm sure it's not 80% UI complaints in a video that isn't even about the UI.
Not too sure nerfing the uppercut and the “haymaker” (love the new name btw) was the correct move after the ballistics rework. Heavy bullet drop with long ammo and infinite range headshots has made spam at range much more viable. And while i found the haymaker slightly overtuned for a 370$ weapon last patch, the uppercut was in a perfect spot. But now the uppercut is an expensive knockoff trueshot. And the haymaker only needed that premium pricetag.
I disagree on the crossbow ballistics/drop, I'm fairly certain those have been adjusted to some degree, being that the big crossbow regular bolt drops a lot faster than it used to.
Funnily enough im gonna stick to lowered, and i think hunts the only game to get me to do so. Mostly because i usually look down for traps anyways, but its down to my melee muscle memory, and its the reason i prefer hunter over gunslinger as well.
Neat, but as a gun nerd I don't like that more powerful ammo (long ammo) that develops higher velocity drops more than pistol ammunition... I do understand the balance though, the other ammo types already have shorter damage fall off ranges

The menu UI looks Fantastic! In terms of art but it’s so much work
The new UI needs its own guide, tbh. I am not sure what part of simplifying the interface includes making it even more complex and overloaded, but here we are.
And the bullet drop... The mechanic itself is done nice. But in terms of balance it is bad. RIP Uppercut and Uppermat, since they are outclassed by Trueshot.
Also a 10 times cheaper Springfield marksman with +$50 High velocity outguns a Mosin on large distances (so what's even the point of long ammo now?..)
And they also broke levering and fanning.
Ah home dropped back home to tell us about his home. Noice.
A Barnyard meme? Top tier.
Papas back yall❤
Finally a spruce forest, But I'm stonked for the upcoming update. I'm SOOO READY
I was hoping its UI guide, because i didn't had enough patience to figure it out myself)
I disagree on the crossbow ballistics/drop, I'm fairly certain those have been adjusted to some degree, being that the big crossbow regular bolt drops a lot faster than it used to.
ohhhhhh Spyglass finally has a use!
Funnily enough im gonna stick to lowered, and i think hunts the only game to get me to do so. Mostly because i usually look down for traps anyways, but its down to my melee muscle memory, and its the reason i prefer hunter over gunslinger as well.
I still cannot fathom that they did not patch the match UI to be adaptive to a 21:9 screen.
Also you should do a mine history of the game. I remember that you showed old game play when it's was in 3ed person.
Neat, but as a gun nerd I don't like that more powerful ammo (long ammo) that develops higher velocity drops more than pistol ammunition... I do understand the balance though, the other ammo types already have shorter damage fall off ranges
God I am so jealous. Of course I am stuck away from home and my pc for work when the new update hits
dont be, the game is unplayable with this ui
@@stuart2642 such a stupid exaggeration really… “unplayable”
Do you know if after the update the sensitivity setting has been reset or remain set the way the player adjusted lbefore the update?
@@CenturionF72 it looks like it’s been reset unfortunately, might feel different with your original settings..
Nice!
Until 2025 on the next video, my friends
i actually really enjoyed the sparks suppressed iron sights :(
Dang it's been awhile since I seen a video from you but then I remembered that you got a job at crytek
Im so happy they removed ping limit and gave everyone a 3 day trial... what could go wrong?
We miss you (Billy and I)
Never had the game crash on me until today... 4 times in one night ill be waiting till some patchwork is done
I feel like we need a spererate guide on how to navigate the UI.
oh my god centered crosshairs. i promise to give this game an honest try now!!😊
I stopped playing after 22 hours last year despite liking the game becuase i hated the lower crosshair with my soul. I played again today and i got two kills in my first raid and it felt great way better with centred sights
Comprehensive and quick rundown as always, good vid Home. I haven't played the game in a while, did they fix the server/trade issues?
Nice thumbnail home
