Hi 2024 AP Lit students, good luck on the exam! I enjoyed helping a lot of you through tutoring, DMs, and comments this year. After the exam, feel free to come back and let me know if you found my videos useful.
@@dhyaanbannur5508 The exam has stayed relatively consistent over the years! A few students have asked me what type of evidence to include in Q3, so I would recommend reviewing key symbols, motifs, examples of direct and indirect characterization, and examples of figurative language (personification, metaphors, etc.) in a few books that you've read in your curriculum.
Hi Mrs. Peers! I love your videos and I have a question, If there was ever a prompt that had to do with Sylvia Plath's "the bell jar" could I use it despite of Plath's dark background or disturbing/morbid themes that are present in the book?

Your poetry video really helped me out during todays exam!
@@victorsimionato6563 That's awesome!! Congratulations on completing the exam 👏
Love the videos! I think grammar sessions could be useful to writers too! Especially with the SAT! 😬
Thank you Linda!! And yes, I definitely agree - thanks for the suggestion :)

"Specific textual evidence"?? Whats the point of saying don't freak out and memorize a bunch of quotes from the book?
specific textual evidence just means no quotes; however, you do need to know the context and what's happening in that specific section of the book.
my test is literally in an hour lol
such a good video. thank you.
Could Kite Runner also work as coming of age?
Yes, definitely! The Kite Runner is a great example of a coming-of-age novel.
I'm looking for a score of 6/6.
