Finding games that can accommodate all your friends and ensure everyone has fun during board game night is more than a little tricky. Some don't accommodate more than 4 players, other just scale poorly, and then there's Diplomacy, which will usually result in you having fewer friends by the end of the night.
Despite their rarity, such games do exist though! Shane and Braden are each leading discussions on 3 board games that can accommodate 6 players (or more!), outlining what they're about, a brief tutorial on gameplay, and a few tips on how to get the most of your experience on this week's episode of Unqualified Experts!

Brayden’s excellent RDI character explanations lead me here.

Lords of waterdeep as well my friend. The beauty is that it's the same number of rounds regardless of the number of players, so we long as people don't take Braden length turns the play time is still about the same.

It's one of my favorite games though I do think the 3 player long followed by the 4 player long rules for LOW is where the game works best. At maxed out players it really feels like luck suddenly becomes a big deal because there are so few meeples used!

@@Monteath777 Not so much luck as the whimsy of everyone to stomp you like a narc at a biker rally.

10 Most Likely to be played:Sushi Go Party, Flash Point Fire Rescue, Bang the Dice Game, Camel Up, Castle Panic, 7 Wonders, Chameleon, Pit, Telestrations.
Looking to try as our group keeps expanding: Magic Maze, 6 Nimmt(Take 5), Tiny Towns, Point Salad, Saboteur, The Captain is Dead, Isle of Cats(with expansion)

6Nimmt is great and a constant favorite in our group. Point Salad brings out the salt as you are constantly taking what everyone else wants.

When I need to find a game for 8 or more, it's either a social deduction game (Secret Hitler is my favorite) or give up and split up.
For 7 players, I think Diplomacy but quickly suggest 7 Wonders or ( see above ).
But for 6 my top choice by a country mile is Medici. It's not necessarily better than other great games but I can play those games at other player counts. I like 7 Wonders best at 5 but while Medici is reasonably playable at 5, I wouldn't get excited about it. 6 players is my chance to bring out Medici.

I am not sure any of our group has played Medici. Phillip is probably the least likely to a party game but Secret Hitler sounds like a great time.

I think We Didn't Playtest This should've been one of the games that was mentioned. But it's just my opinion. Wait, that was mentioned, so never mind. I'll go with Monopoly instead.

Oof, Monopoly would be a tough sell for a lot of groups - it starts almost as many fights as Diplomacy!

Good call. We Didn't Playtest is so good, so goofy. Love that one!
