In today's video we take a look at recent prices for vintage paperbacks that sold on eBay UK and USA during June 2021. Some incredible prices were realised.
Books featured include vintage Pan Books, vintage Penguin Books, lot of Ian Fleming James Bond titles, including 1st editions and rare Director's editions, Agatha Christie books, some superb job lots, Fighting Fantasy, Agatha Christie and Louis L'Amour plus amazing individual sales and just unexpected oddball titles. I've had that edition of The Saint Meets the Tiger for years. It's the first Saint novel and for many years represented the only paperback edition, as far as I know. I never actually read it as the print was so small! I'd love to see a video about the Penguin Simenons. I've collected some of the 70s editions just because the cover art is so lovely.

Hi loving the vids. Very informative. I rècently picked a copy of a book called 'boys club' howard michaels of bath house books in good condition. I think its an erotica book although ive not read it. Ive seen a brief description to say its rare but in struggling to find any real info on it
Have a look on abebooks.com, see if you can see it listed. It might be rare so you may need to wait until one shows up.

Hi Jules, i visited a charity shop today and found a box full of vintage Agatha Christie books, about 35 in total i paid £6 for the lot. Among the books are 3 or 4 hard backs, 1 of them is really old (Poirots Christmas) published by the Crime Club, it has a blue hard back but there is no year on the inside, how do i find out what year it is from? Hope you can help:)
Sounds like you did well for £6.00, nice one 🙂 The Collins Crime Club hardbacks are the UK original printers but that one isn't a fortune, even in 1st edition. Still nice to have though. In top shape about £45.

@@JulesBurt Yes that is the one, the 'rag doll' is hanging and there is an iguana in the undergrowth. on the inside it says 33rd impression 1980, condition is outstanding, very pleased.
Excellent, the edition is almost irrelevant as the cover is what people collect. In nice shape you have done well.
£750???? That is tge price of a mint copy of Lw28 Hunger of Sejanoz
