“The Ones Who Mother Me” is a perfect song for Mother’s Day-or any day-to show love to the special women in your life. We dedicate this song to all the women who lift, nurture, and inspire others. Thank you!
🌟 About the Song: We are SO EXCITED (yep, yelling in all caps here!) to share “The Ones Who Mother Me.” Joelle and I wanted to write a song that honored those who “mother” us. Part of the universal human experience is being nurtured by caring women. Some of those women we might call “Mom.” Others are grandmothers, aunts, sisters, neighbors, teachers, youth leaders, friends, and music teachers. This list could go on and on!
This beautiful song was co-written with my dear friend, Joelle Einerson. Working on a song like this was very tender, and we felt so much love as the lyrics and music came together in such a beautiful way. As we wrote, I was reminded of so many amazing women who nurtured and taught me throughout my life. My heart swells with gratitude as I think about each one of them and the impact they have had on my life. I'm also so grateful for those who are playing those roles in the lives of my three children.
