Aligning family elements works with reference planes. If you have reference planes on the outer edges of the sofa you will be able to use the align tool with no problem
Hello, very many thanx for the video. I want to add something for sofa families: Once you create a geometric shape, you can use it by changing just dimensions by double click (both extrusions and their void forms). No need to create same shape again and again. And for similar furniture, you can just save as it and again make changes on it in the same way.
Good as usual. You’ve a lot of fans from all over the world, most of them will need one on one tutorials from you but the language barrier would be a disaster for you, and more than likely funny to see. There’s probably an app or program that does that for you though. Good luck with your new channel hope all goes well for you.
I cannot round the sofa / backrest, after 11:42 minute something happens and my edges do not round and at minus 17:22 I don't get the frame inside the frame but outside, how can I solve this?? Please help
Great tutorial. I have one question tough. I downloaded a leather texture image for the couch from the web, I could see the patern on realistic view. But when I render it Revit couldn't find the image, Could you please give an advise about how to do it?. Thanks in advance, keep pushing.
Hi there, I think it just missing link of the image during the time the file is rendering. I would recommend putting all of your texture images in one folder and you should put the folder where the Revit file location. I think it would help.
While doing edit profile in this video at timing 8:13 in the video my line width was a bit larger than yours and i m not able to reduce it ... Can you help me over this as greater width makes it difficult
Why do not we bring a sofa of Max or SketchUp and put them in the program of the Revit and work more on the walls and floors and the Bishop instead of wasting time by making the table and the sofa .. Just a suggestion .. Thank you

You can also add a visibility parameter and you could only make 1 family and add the back sit part for visibility, it would be nice
Great tutorial. Great job. Don t stop.and thank you for you help.
