I have replaced the battery in my huawei p30 pro. It turns on but restarts every 20 seconds or so. It is stuck on the logo screen. The battery is fully charged and works in its original phone, but when swapped into another it no longer works. Is a battery coded to the phone??
Hello. I have solved the issue! With the new battery, I did the following; turn the phone on, with the original battery connected. Plugged a charged cable in and made sure it was on charge. Quickly, disconnected the old battery, and connected the new battery. The phone remained switched on during this. I then did a restart with the power still connected. I unplugged the phone from the charger and thereafter, it recognises the new battery and works as normal
