- In August 2019, The Anfield Wrap unveiled a 26-foot mural of Trent Alexander-Arnold on the doorstep of Anfield in support of Fans Supporting Foodbanks.
In the aftermath of Liverpool's sixth European Cup win, Trent was asked what it meant to join the legends who've lifted the trophy and he replied: "I'm just a normal lad from Liverpool whose dream has just come true."
This quote formed the basis of the mural which celebrates a local lad living all our dreams and hopefully inspires the next generation to chase theirs - and here's how it all came together...

Love this, great feature. Inspirational. It's disgraceful that foodbanks have become such an important resource for so many, but they also demonstrate that normal people are the ones that can help those in need the most. Liverpool has a huge fan base that spreads far and wide and us non-Scouser fans could and should take time to find out about the ones closest to us. Brilliant work fellas.

Great video and very emotional. Just wondering how you managed to get permission to use that wall on Sybil Road?
We spoke to various residents around the area first to ensure they'd be happy with something like this in the area. From that, we spoke to various homeowners then a company who owned that house got in touch with us about it. Wasn't an easy process, but we were made up it was something that those in the area were in support of!

That Mural is for a great cause first & foremost but like Shankly’s Statue and the Paisley gates has become a photo opportunity on a match day thousands of LFC supporters now seek it out as part of a match day great idea great cause we are the original club we lead everyone follows YNWA
A good video of a great story about a local Liverpool player and the lads (and ladies) who go the extra mile off the pitch to show their appreciation for him going the extra mile every game it it. Sound.
Fucking breaks my heart that we need Foodbanks in the twentieth year or the twenty first century. So very not sound.
But it gives me hope there are enough people around who give a shit to help those who for whatever reason, find themselves unable to put enough food on the table to keep their families and themselves fed.
I just hope that in the upcoming election, enough people choose not to vote for the Gobshite Conservatives who's lack of compassionate action has resulted in Foodbanks becoming a fixture in too many peoples lives.

haha! You did that for a mural that was done to raise awareness for Fans Supporting Foodbanks - an initiative by Liverpool and Everton fans - to ensure those most in need in Liverpool have enough to eat?
