Good luck on your New Years resolutions. Keep the videos coming. Its a pleasure watching you interact with the animals. Your love for them shows through.
Wonderful resolutions, gaining balance between work, and family and hobbies are great resolutions to strive for. I retired in Oct. of 2023 and can relate it was harder to transition from full time working for 50 yrs to balancing all the free time to be productive each day. In the past year I have managed to complete a number of projects that were on my to do list. ❤
Happy New Year, Neline, family and all the critters! Q? When calves are born extra large, do you increase their milk or do they all get the same based on age?
I really enjoy your channel. I worked in a family business, as you and your family are doing. I admire how you all are educated and hardworking. Your parents have worked hard and sacrificed so you will all be more successful in the future and are proud of you all, without question. I’m certain you will carry on a proud tradition. Congrats and best wishes for the future.
I remember the first two year old colt that I had a trainer put 60 days on it. when I got it home and got on it, it felt like the colt had power steering. I t was so nice to ride.
Omg the same over here off my iPad but not missing my videos that I really enjoy. Still take my dog for her walk but she can’t go as far as I would like to go. So I will take her for her walk then drop her off and keep going we have many trails around here that our gorgeous so I’m not going to miss out. Addison is 14 years old she still enjoys a good walk but I know I can keep going. Just need to get outside more summer is easy. I do enjoy horse back riding and we have a place not far from me that take good care of there horses and I enjoy the ride.
I know the I know the dairy farm work is never done but it's still too bad you had to work New Year's Eve and be back up at 4:00 a.m. New Year's Day to work it would be nice if you had more help to cover that we wonder if you all do the work so your helpers can be off for the holiday. Still happy New Year and will be watching to see if you keep those New Year resolutions maybe we'll have to nag you if we catch you breaking them hahaha to end 2024 I just want to say we enjoyed your smiles and your laughs😊
Hi Neline. It's the MOO YEAR ... Barbra S. sings the song ..."What are you doing on Moo Year's Eve ???" I was in bed well before the ball drop this year !! Phone ??? Drop all the (social media accounts/ Apps) that tie you to your phone, that are not necessary. I dumped all of mine a long time ago. Only keep what you use for work or business at hand. If it does not serve a purpose other than Brain Rot, then drop it !! Go into your phones system and activate viewing timer and set it. At night, put your phone on DND and leave it in another room, than the bedroom so you don't pick it up first thing. Unless of course you use it as an alarm clock, then put it on DND and set if for only alarms. Little steps, turn into workable decisions. Is Jan away since Christmas ?? He's been MIA !!! "Hello, I am Mr. Ed. A horse is a horse, of course of course !!" Happy MOO YEAR from Mooooo-ntreal !!!!
In a video a few weeks ago, you mentioned that the milk is pasteurized before you put it in the milk taxi. It is my understanding that pasteurization kills/removes a lot of the nutrients and benefits of milk. Since it is not pasteurized when the calk get it directly from the mother, why do you do it? Love the channel.
Not that it matters but my curious brain can’t let it go!- when you milk the fresh cows, do you milk them into the canister kept to the side of the parlor and then carry to the calf kitchen in 5 gallon buckets? Or how do you keep the colostrum separate from the milk tank? 😂happy new year!
Not anymore! He did his part for nearly 30 years. Now it’s up to us kids and the employees to make sure the job gets done! He keeps busy doing other jobs and maintenance work 🙂.
Best of luck. The horseback time is the best therapy!
Life gets busy, it's ok to take some time for yourself and have some fun.

I sometimes see male calves desperately lunging for the bucket pre feeding. Do they settle down after the next few feedings?
I want to wish you and your family a Happy New Year. ❤❤❤

The experts say not to feed your cat milk but some how every dairy farm in history has had cats and feed them milk with no problem. Go figure 😊

Neline is that a Pookl shirt you are wearing at the start? They were invented by people from my home town if it is. Own several.
Great Video!
How many days do calves need colostrum??? 😊

Don’t cry over spilled milk because Russell is here
do heifer calves have longer eyelashes ?
How long after birth do the calves get colostrum?
Usually within 6 hours, but typically we feed it sooner than that.
oh,some Quebec products- Vaporisateur a usage professionel !
Why not just take the milk taxi back to the milk room and fill it back up?
Always thought colostrum looks like eggnog
I’ve never thought about that but now I won’t be able to “unsee” it 😂
👍🎆🎇
👍👍❤🐄
You put milk in a feed bucket
Yep, I did 🙃
Yep.....what's the problem?
Money doesn’t grow on trees lovely ha haha
Does your Dad do any milking
Not anymore! He did his part for nearly 30 years. Now it’s up to us kids and the employees to make sure the job gets done! He keeps busy doing other jobs and maintenance work 🙂.

Why not just fill the milk taxi up twice instead of buckets
OMG😂😂😂😂😂😂
We think you ladies who feed the Cavs must be strong for all the heavy lifting you do
damn, why can't the cows stop producing milk or eat on holidays ... You have to milk and feed the buggers 365 days a year...
First paul
