If/When you buy a 335i, really double check everything said by the previous owner is correct (Maintenance/Mods) 90% of 335i's in 2024 are touched in some way. get maintenance receipts. as an N54 owner they are 50/50 gamble. you either get lucky on a well maintained one or an absolutely abused piece of sh*t. had mine for over a year now and have only had to do the basic maintenance (Valvecover, OFH gasket, Water pump, sparks/coils) do your due diligence and goodluck 👍
Receipts and evidence of proper maintenance doesnt matter . Every component needs replacing at certain mileage/ interval. Ive gone through stock turbos with 7-10k miles break shafts . Nut backing out. Rebuilt mechtronics unit fail with only 15k miles. Not to mention replacing every with billet parts to delay failure. If you drive it like it should be something breaks every 10-20 hard pulls regardless of 40 rolls or dead stop to 160mph. For me as long as it hasnt been in collision and electrical components replaced often these e9x are solid. Ive had 5 e9x n54. 4 were e90 and coming out soon with e93 . B series are the move for longevity. N series are future classics.

mines sadly a mix of beat and new i have one with 99k miles but its very clean and luckily i got mine as a manual but there was a catch i bought it with a blown motor and now currently swapping the engine myself did all the maintenance and will be putting it in soon Already removed the front clip
Take the top cover off of the headlight, to let the water evaporate from the housing. Once dry, cover the opening with tape, after putting the end to an air pump inside. Turn on the air pump and spray the headlight with soapy water until u see bubbles forming.. thats ur leak. Clean and use butyl rubber to seal the leak.

Every other e92 are automatics with 130k +, and 3-4 owners ya get me. The occasional auto e92 pops up with 80-90k miles, 1-2 owners, but like its automatic, ya hearr. idk for sure getting aan e92 by next month tho. just sstuck. any comments?
Yes I’d recommend the manual e92 since in my opinion it’s a better driving experience and 2 the manual can hold up in the 700s fine auto around 430 max if it was well taken care of you will only have to keep up on maintenance oil changes spark plugs and coils belt every while
Make sure the water pump is changed and watch for oil leaking. I had mine for two years and it reached up to 120 miles. 335i lci (n55) The issue i had was: - Water pump - chargpipe got wrecked Problem that would have appeared after 120k miles: - Injectors - HPFP - valve cover gasket

I used to buy old and then mod.. buy new supertune and baby it. 2021 m2comp supercharger switch,psi tuned 550, 750, 1000hp 823 to the wheels for playing. Total invest 68k, will destroy a stock 2019 and ealier avent, GTR3 are nothing lol
