I gotta say, I been getting into fishing and been all over the internet watching beginners tutorials on baits, lures, retrieval techniques you name it. I watched Australian, English, Yankee, Japanese, and Southern boys, but there ain't NOBODY I trust more on this shit than a Louisiana coonass. I'm going to fish in ditches by Sulphur now, fuck a lake or the beach.
But in all seriousness, I dig your videos man and they helped me out learn more about brackish fishing. Keep it Cajun now ya hear?

That most def was a big choupique. Here in central Louisiana I catch them all the time. The only reason you lost it is because it surprised you lol and you didn't set the hook.

Looked like a Bowfin! Watch " Spirit of the Outdoors ". He's a Mississippi guy who loves Bowfin, and shows the technique he uses to catch them, and how to prepare them for cooking. Also, he calls them Grennal.

Bowfin/mud fish is what that one big one that got off was. They are eatable but you have to prepare them a certain way from what i remember. I havent caught one in maybe 20 years lol.
Oh and the way you eat cat,dog, racoon and errrrthing else you probably would like the bowfin 😂😂

I have had to re subscribe at least 20 times. I don't know why utube keeps deleting my subscription. I really enjoy watching your channel and wish youtube would figure it out so your channel would grow faster. If it's happening to me it has to be happening to other people as well.
I've seen yourubers talk about over a 1000 subs just disappearing. Idk what happens but it's crazy. I've had to do the same on other channels as you, they way I keep my favs is have all them will all notifications on.
