Nice job Steve getting the old chooching again! Im a fellow Coleman file, i have not nearly as many as you, but few singles, some doubles and 1 triple burner, oldest i have is a 413C with the gold tank, i 5 years out from retirement hoping to have more time and more coffee on a stove somewhere scenic...
Well, hello max. I appreciate sharing that with me. I'm hoping to go 5 years myself. However, lately it's feeling like 2 or 3. We'll see, ha ha ha ha ha. 😂
It really works 💪 I have even warmed the fluid, and let it sit down there on the valve, repeating 3-4 times to maintain heat , it really does the trick on really bad ones.
Awesome job Steve ! That’s a beauty, what a burner . Your right about taking your time I winced and closed my eyes when you had the valve assembly in the vice . Especially with the older stuff who knows if you can pick up the right packing . Hope you and your family have a awesome new year
Very nice. Looks like you found the model 9, just wrong brand haha. I had one of these way back in the day, and it ended up leaking just like yours. I guess it's just a common ailment. Glad to see this one working right again
When it comes to lamps and stoves, you, Steve are a master restorer. 🙂👍🏻👍🏻
I try... still lots of learning to go for sure
Thanks IAN !
Early Coleman is rare! Interesting!! You have specialized skills👍🏻

Ohhh, that stove needs its stickers painted on. Looks wonderful. Boy she really talks.
Right ! , ok I better, I kinda like the Navy Gray , my leave it like that but still stencil the tank .
The early stuff is just so cool. It needs to be used..😊
