what would this team be like with Teoscar, Lourdes and Gabby's bats in this lineup, how would the base running look with Gabby and Lourdes on base, the catching would be off the charts with Gabby throwing out 50% of base stealers, instead they have a catcher that is hurt 50% of the season year after year, Kirk is a good backup and he doesn't hurt the team, he's a popular player and he tries, the cleveland duo need to be escorted to the border before they can come up with more excuses, new seats shapiro and his side kick need to be gone
Lourdes, Teoscar and Gabby aren't exactly the answer either as they have batting averages of .242, .246 and .233 respectively. With Teoscar the only one with an OPS above .700 at .775. To be honest, I think Danny Jansen is better than Moreno. Not sure who the Jays could have signed to help this team as there really weren't any decent hitters available in the offseason, and the mediocre ones like Chapman and Belliinger were demanding ridiculous contracts. The only decent hitters available were Soto, who would have cost your farm system for a one year rental, and Ohtani who they tried to sign. The issue with this team is that they tied their boat to Vladdy, Bichette and Springer, who have all been average at best hitters.
So glad to see McCown on the broadcast and making meaningful contributions despite the difficulties his stroke imposed on him. And it's also encouraging to see him getting better. It's a long slow recovery but I can't help but believe that having a purpose, coupled with the desire to continue doing what he's always done, is as therapeutic as anything the doctors are doing, and that's not to diminish the work of doctors.
I hate the idea of Atkins being the person in charge of making any signings or trades to do with the future make up of this team...he has failed miserably for 7 years...and I think Shapiro gave Atkins an extension as some insurance for himself....we need Rogers ( if they even care ) to remove the whole group from top down
It's blatant that Shapiro has the final say and calls the shots. That's why Anthopolos departed. Ales would have had no Independence or authority without Shappy rubber stamping. Atkins is just a figurehead for Shaps.

One complete game in 7 years by a pitcher that calls his own game. With this starting rotation and the number of guys that can give you 6 innings , they throw way too many pitches . Neither catcher can call a good game . Mental errors are on the rise. Their approach to hitting is terrible . They only go the other way by accident . Situational hitting and base stealing are terrible .Terrible base running . Not running hard out of the box. Etc etc etc. Worst manager in baseball , start with the guy that puts up with all that . Fire the manager asap.

Little Eddie Rogers Mark Shapiro And Ross Atkins are all in these bad trades and cost cutting trades Because Atkins should have definitely have been fired by now .Why has he not been fired because Shapiro and little Eddie rogers are basically telling Ross Atkins and agreeing what Ross Atkins is doing So Little Eddie Rogers and Mark Shapiro are accomplices to Ross Atkins bad trades When they traded Teoscar Hernandez for a reliever they could have gotten easily in free agency Teoscar was making 14 million and Jansen the reliever was making only 3.5 million Little Eddie Rogers liked that trade because he saved 10.5 million not having Teo on the team . And he got a good reliever Atkins and Shapiro spinning it tp Little Dumb Eddie Rogers it was a good trade It was a good trade saving money but not for the team and for Bo and Vladdys production since Teo left has not been as good. Plus throwing in Guriel Jr in the Moreno for Varsho trade was probably because he was making a lot more than Varsho and they like cutting payroll wherever they think they can Getting rid of Guriel Jr. That was also a bad trade to get rid of a good veteran hitter in his prime for the team . Plus the should have paid the money to keep Marcus Semien he would have come back if they gave him a good offer. His leadership work ethic and good hitting has been greatly missed for this team This is why their hitting has mostly sucked since losing Teo ,Guriel Jr and Semien. And also what Longley pointed Atkins Shapiro And Little Eddie Rogers do not really interact with their players and show they are wanted here.And Vladdy and Bo sees they are not wanted here also because they are not signed long term yet and it is coming close to their free agency

The Jays are ALWAYS "mismanaged". At this point it seems to be by design. You can't tell me that a franchise as wealthy and powerful as the Toronto Blue Jays would have the distinction of being the most boring franchise in MLB. This is the franchise that invented .500 baseball and 3rd place finishes in a division of 5 teams. Here's an interesting stat: If you removed the Toronto Blue Jays from existence, none of the other MLB teams would have their W-L records affected at all. One final stat: the Toronto Blue Jays are the only MLB team that has no rivalry with any of the other teams in its own division. There has never been a Toronto vs New York, Toronto vs Boston, rivalry in the 30+ years that they've been in the same division. Instead, Toronto's closest "rivals" are always with division outsiders like Texas, Kansas City, etc.
After Moreno/Gurielle Trade for Varsho, I was especially upset with Shapiro and "Algorithm" Adkins, who really "pissed me off" in last season's winless Playoffs. He makes me wish for Anthopolous, though, admittedly, Anthopolous has since enjoyed much success elsewhere. I ask: Why us; the most accepting, patient Fanbase anywhere? I wouldn't prefer he lie to the fans just because you think it's something they want to hear. That's ridiculous and the backlash will be even worse when nothing happens. Season ticket holder for almost a decade. After seeing the BS move in playoffs and how completely disorganized and deceiving they were about moving seats options for the renovations, I decided to walk from my seats. I have seats with mlse and they treat the season ticket holders way better. I am now actively cheering against this team. Top to bottom head office is the worst.
