I must take issue with one specific aspect of this review. The Marx brothers' assault was not an assault upon logic or reason or things that make sense. The Marx brothers assaulted conformity, authority, and, above all, pretension. And to me that is logical, reasonable, and makes perfect sense. They were the anarchists of comedy, for which I will always adore them.
I have Duck Soup on DVD made in 1933 here we are in 2019 how many people are still watching the Marx Brothers also as i have said before here in YOU TUBE how many people have seen the wonderful THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL the comedy in that film was like watching the MARX Brothers
I have not seen this movie in years. I loved the Marx Bros. They are funnier than the Three Stooges. More cerebral, less slapstick. The Stooges went for the quick cheap laugh. To enjoy the Marx Bros. you had to listen closely to 'get it'.

90 years old,,, and still funny
Duck Soup is one of the few Marx Brothers films where Harpo and Chico don't play the harp and piano.
I have only ever seen a few of the Marx brothers videos. I saw them when I was a kid and think i'll look for some more video from them...
the bros careers took off once they worked with Thalberg at MGM
Their best work was with Parmount, Duck Soup is their masterpiece.
@@blacbraun Duck Soup and A Night At The Opera are both comedic masterpiece's.

yeah i know. i have always thought the stooges were a bit overated.
Funny, huh !
This move is about the Trump presidency
It is about that pretentious Obama and his cohort Biden. Get education.
