Killstar is a fast fashion brand with luxury prices. Many "alt brands" have this approach, just cause' alt people are so desperate to have their own niche represented in the market. They think that printing pentagrams on everything is enough to make a garment worth over £100. They also moved their headquarters inside the UK and wanted their workers to suddenly relocalise (even though they were working remotely). I don't like this brand
@@TheYoungKilljoy yeah fr I went to their website to look at some of their close and i just hate how they are just lazy and the chucky shirt with ,,goth girl/boy,, written was too much for me its just so ugly lol
@@ImScaredToDeath The Child's Play and Carrie collabs were not just lazy, but ugly. Why did they even bother to do these collabs if they didn't have any ideas for designs. Their new Beetlejuice collection has a tiny bit more effort put into it, but for me there's no must haves so far I've seen.
Very informative video, I always wondered what's the reason why socialmedia creators don't want to promote killstar. Aslo thank you for the shop recommendations at the end🙏

I bought one of their 'faux' leather jackets less then 3 years ago. While the weight of it feels like a real lethal jacket, that thing has started to peel. Even though I wear it rarely and take good care of it. I hate how killstar uses pleather. Its creation is so aweful for the environment, you cant wash it because of that and it will fall apart unlike a real leather jacket that will last ages. I get killstar's trying to be 'vegan' friendly but honestly pleather isn't the way to do it. It is in fact worse. They should look into upcycling leather, use leather anyway or use the leather that is plant based/made from plants. My two shirts from killstar are fine. So is my velvet sweater. My scarf from them is also nice, and the creepers I got from them are decent but when I walk my heels tend to pop out rather then be more secured like in demonias.
I haven't had any problems with my clothes tearing apart, but I have a big issue with sizing and proportions with the clothes from Killstar and Restyle. What's up with those long arms and bizarre short body length their dresses have? I have also been extremely disappointed by their choice of fabric and constructions for the price. These last issues are also a problem I have with clothes from Punk Rave. The last shirt I bought from them was a shirt I wanted for at least 5 years, instant regret when I put it one, it's very scratchy. I have an old bag from Killstar that have impressed me, it has survived a lot of beating and awful weather, still good as gold. I have ordered the new skull bag, I cross my fingers it will be good. I have never had problems with their home items and Kreeptures, I own a lot of that stuff. The jewellery I have is good, but discontinued years ago, so I don't know how their new jewellery are like. I never had a problem with their shipping within EU.
@@ImScaredToDeath I forgot that I have one pair of platform shoes from Killstar. They are very pretty with ornamental cutting in the platform sole, but completely unusable as shoes. The sole has no give, and the plastic "vegan leather" makes an uncomfortable amount of squeaking noises. The youtubers who reviewed those shoes were no honest. I try to stay out of their clothing and shoes section and remind myself that most of the clothes I have from them are unusable. I love their Kreeptures and homeware though.
Shirley here, I don't hate killstar never had trouble with clothing or shipping. Yes their prices are high and I don't think the quality has gone down. I still order from them if I see something I like.
@@ImScaredToDeath Thank you for the reply, yes I read as well they refuse to refund and you have only 3 days to return the items. The quality seems to be good according to reviews, it's a shame the customer service is crap.
I reeeeally love killstar but compare to their old designs now its garbage...And rarely u find something unique.Their jewelry and purses took the downhill ...
Ech... Kiedyś killstar miał super pomysły na nadruki i kroje, materiały również były o wiele lepszej jakości... teraz to prawdziwa masówka, bez świeżych pomysłów a materiały są tragiczne. Stare modele ubrań szyją z gorszych materiałów. Szkoda. :(
i agree i hate the same print on everything situation. i only really like their lingerie.
