@@CR500R this was my first thought as well, then I assumed it was because they figured they could screw over the small business man and design their own lol
I have used his connectors for years. I have also had correspondence with Joe directly. The connector is outstanding and their customer support is second to none. Not cheap but great product!!!!!!
This is definitely the next best thing for so many different uses, that are actually useful! Let's all promote this guy! He's definitely got something huge!
Like all great inventions, so simple & obvious, and absolutely mind boggling that no one thought of it earlier. I wish this company all the success. 😱🤯
Joe the inventor needs to partner up with Camping World and get these on the shelves in their stores. It’s definitely an upgrade I’m planning on making. These are really nice and the reviews just on this video are positive reviews, that says a lot.
This would be nice for going though fields and pastures. Many times I've had tree branches, stalks, and weeds grab the cable to the plug and pull it out, usually breaking something. Having it just pop out would be nice. Been trying to go to the zip breakaway cables for the same reason. Since they stay up out of the way.
Thank you for sharing your life with us, I applaud you for who you are & what you do to help people, I take great enjoyment in your success, Thank you again...
Been using these for a few years. Found out about them from a marine dock builder. The weakest link is the “o” ring which you can buy separately. E-z connector to 7-pin for non believers works well also. Joe is also VERY fair man.
I rigged up my own video camera for the back of my trash trailer and it made a world of difference when backing up. Having one of these with all those wires would be awesome for running my backup camera. With mine I disconnected the cable run to my bumpers back up camera and used it to plug into my trailer when I used it.
I installed this this past summer on my Off grid trailer and Silverado and love it! Totally agree game changer. We off road and go overlanding over serious 4x4 trails and my 7 pin kept coming loose. No more with the Ez connector. Best product out there!
After watching this video, I purchased a one kit for my 2003 F350 the universal kit then additionally upgraded to the plug-in play newer plug for the truck with the door on it. This product is amazing. Also I am a fan of coiled trailer wires and Joe is so awesome. I am sending cables that I have in storage not getting used to him to put his and seven pen on these trailer wires for me. Amazing customer service these folks are the real deal. These guys are absolutely amazing. love their product revolutionary next level. Love it.🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
I have had this on my 5thwheel for at least 12 plus years. Never had a problem with connection unless operator error. Easy enough that my wife can plug in the trailer with confidence. Great product.
I remember seeing advertising for these plugs probably 8yrs or so ago. I wanted to get more info but lost the paper I had. So awesome to see that they are still out there! After dealing with another rotted plug on the back of my tow vehicle I'm ready to start converting my trailers and trucks to these.
Viewing this product from my country Australia, this would bring all the benefits mentioned in the video to the variety of plug connectors that we run, and improvements would all be the same. Well thought out device.
This is the game changer I was looking for, Magnetic connection with no pin and sockets to loose electrical connection over time. I just bought a new tool trailer and this is what I will buy and install. Thanks for this breakthru News.
This guy is gonna be a Bazillionaire! Such a simple solution. I too, think that this will be standard in the next 5 or 10. People are gonna want it on everything. Heck! I want it on everything.
I have never seen this before. I need no car manufacturer or anywhere. Why I have never seen. It is beyond me. This is a very great innovation. And I would love to put it on my truck and trailers.
We have been using this connector on our fifth wheel since 2015 very reliably. Maintenance free except an occasional pebble that got in there. Highly recommend this for anyone pulling a trailer.
been using for a couple of years. great unit. only once I had a small fault. and it was my fault. didn't ensure connection was complete and tight. travelling on very dusty outback roads, I managed to get dust on the contacts, tail lights and indicators worked but of course the dust decided to build up on the brake contacts. not a great issue at the time, but lesson learnt, I run a dry cloth over the plug and socket every time I hook up and ensure the "o" ring seals
I switched my trailers to the semi truck pin style connector after frustrations with the plastic rv plug wearing out This looks to be my next upgrade Thanks for showcasing innovative products for the folks who tow
ITD has these on their new equipment and WOW is that magnet strong. Ive had my hands on his and now I'm looking to rig it in all my personal vehicles. 1 ton to camper, dump trailer, and equipment trailers. I can't wait!
This looks like an awesome product! I have personally forgotten to unplug the fifth wheel an ripped the plug out when unhooking, breaking the housing. This is going on the upgrade list! 👍🏽
Beautiful. Genius invention .im truly gonna look into purchasing in one.i have a 31 ft.travel trailor. Times are aittle hard at this time.soon ill order one.god bless you all.awsum interview thumbs up.
Boy this is absolutely game changing. I was wondering when someone would come up with this. It’s sort of the equivalent to the Apple MagSafe adaptor, except for trailers. Now if someone would invent this same darned thing for the AC (shore) power connection.
Works Awesome! Been running these on our trucks and trailers for 5 years, towing through winter crud and dropping boats in saltwater, no problem. One tip, clean and apply a little dielectric grease on the o ring once a year. If you tow, you should purchase this!
That is most definitely a game changer for hooking up any type of trailer connection. Given the option to have this new connector vs the original 7-pin connector I would definitely pay extra to get this new connector installed.
I have had one for about 3 years on my fifth wheel. Added the conversion to the truck. I live near the ocean where corrosion is a concern and have not had a problem with conductivity when connected. Incredible product.
His claims of not using dielectric is false...it does NOT hinder your electrical connection. It actually minimizes corrosion. His statement is easily proven false.
Do your homework before doing anything. It's not normally advised to run large currents via parallel wires. If anything happens to a single wire. You can have a major fire hazard.
@@Gmac705 I know. Running 2 gauge or 1/0 to the back truck with 175 amp anderson connector. Just going tie into a victron DC to DC smart isolated 12/24-15 charger. But actually thinking more for the cameras. Wired cameras better picture. I have over the air the pic it's ok I just want better quality.

We’ve been using these for years on our Progressive AG orchard and vineyard sprayers hooked up to our John Deere tractors in very dusty and dirty. They do get corroded but are relatively easy to clean.

Ten years and this will be standard... So simple, so smart. Well done!
It's been around for probably 10 years already. I saw them years ago at a local store. They were pretty pricey back then
However, one would wonder why Ford Motor Company didn't use them. 🤔

This is an amazing product! I love the idea of using the 14pin setup for extra controls/options.
They 14 pin one is super cool especially for powering lights and things on your trailer without a battery on it would make it super easy.
Just ordered these for my truck and trailer. Thank you for showing this product. I have been looking for something like this for weeks.
WOW that is genius ! Gotta have! This should be installed in all trucks/trailers make a deal w/manufacturers! 👍👍👍

Wow and the price is much better than I was expecting. Now I just need a trailer!

@@fbingha1 that said, replacing an O ring is easier than fixing a poor connection.
