I think everyone forgot that Akira/Ren/Joker is not mute. He literally says random thoughts when you use third eye, and calls out Persona names during battle
I tend to forget he's supposed to be a silent protagonist because of that.
JustScrollingInTheComments he talks when writing in his journal, he talks randomly during cutscenes without anyone noticing lol and he talks to himself during battle

Like trespassing on private property, Sending threats to people (Yes they were bad people, but threats are illegal regardless), illegally downloading files off of someones computer which is an invasion of privacy, as well as some minor B&E when they broke into Madarames storage room. Those are pretty minor though compared to the last calling card which could be considered terrorism.

ryuji's "aint that right, leader?" gives me chills every time, without fail
antonioidek they saw ryujis hair and not a lot of people in like Japan have blonde hair so what if people figured out ryuji was a phantom thief. Even though people should know by now because Ryuji always has to stage that THEY ARE THE PHANTOM THIEVES

@@jacquespaught I wouldn't say it's a plot hole, didn't the interrogator at the very end of the game, when Joker goes to prison, say that one of the charges was something along the lines of hijacking a live broadcast?

Gotta give it credit: SEES and The Investigation Team didn't do anything like this. Nyx was a problem only SEES and Strega knew about, while Izanami was a problem The Investigation Team had to deal with, not even (Not going to say killer's name to avoid spoiling it) didn't know about it and (they) were pretty (spoiler) about (spoiler). As far as i know, The Phantom Thieves were the only ones to ever do something as big as the previous games and let the entire world know about it in the meantime. Can't wait till Persona 6 when we see someone wearing a P-Thieves T-Shirt, or someone reading Mishima's book or even hear about them on the news....

I mean, if you want something canon with both the P3 and P4 cast in it, there's Persona 4 Arena and Arena Ultimax (a sequel to Arena). If you buy P4AU, you can buy the original's story mode as DLC.

@@someclevername8167 to be fair, the P4 protagonist is the most vocal silent protagonist of all time, considering in the spin off games he talks like all the time.
Honestly, this is seriously why Futaba is best girl for me from P5.
She's just amazing in being a hacker and valuable teammember. Without her we wouldn't have this Calling Card then.
I like Futaba too, but the fanboys/fangirls are a pain in the ass. They bash every other waifu and praise Futaba so much, It's honestly annoying. I prefer Makoto, and now that I said it, I am gonna get attacked by Futaba fanboys/fangirls.
Kostas Spirou I’d say that Futaba is best girl but Makoto is best waifu (currently, we’ll have to see how Kasumi does in P5R). Haru is also a pretty great pick, but she unfortunately doesn’t have much screen time. Futaba would be best waifu if it weren’t for the fact that, in my opinion, she’s waaaaaaaaaaaay too much of an adorable little sister for Joker (as his character/role, not as the player/self-insert) to think of her in that way. Which is even sadder because Futaba canonically has a crush on him for at least some time period (probably another reason on top of many to waifu her)....
@@ShinyKyu couldn't have said it better. Futaba is a blessing to the game but I could only see myself romancing makoto, and I don't regret it one bit.

Joker is 5' 10" , Ryuji is 5' 9", Yusuke is 5' 11", Ann is 5' 6", Makoto is 5' 5", Haru is 5' 2", Futaba is 4' 10" (But swears she is 4' 11"), according to the official artbook. Their blood types, zodiac signs and birthdays are also listed.

Minako/Hamuko as an actual cannon will never cease to make me smile and chuckle.
I don’t know how these people are so calm. When I got to this scene, the hype I was experiencing was equal to that of when Etika reacted to SSBU. At one point I even thought that I was overreacting, but these were my actual emotions
I just witnessed this incredible scene an hour ago and I was the most hyped in the entire game.
I love how everyone reacts to Joker saying a sentence as if he hasn't spoken before in the story

This was definitely the one of all the reactions i looked foward to the most, this calling card is just beyond anything else and its amazing, i can't wait to see further reactions beyond this point, thanks for putting these videos out for us
You should also do "just after the final calling card" reaction. You could call it "Gamers react to Shido and his allies' reactions to the final calling card."

@Jonathan Mollett not really, only a handful were (including Black Mask) but I suppose I should have phrased it as "minions and underlings" rather than "allies" (since he doesn't really view them as such.)

Cameras don't work in mementos, confirmed by Ryuji, and Joker.
So that means the Theives were half in mementos (mementos doesn't have wifi either), and half out, or they were in a place where their cognition was powerful enough for them to appear as the Phantom Thieves in reality.
Or Futaba's tech based Persona can use a camera...

Futaba hack magic. Or perhaps it doesn't work in palaces but works in mementos. They should have explained it but I'm sure it would be easy for them to plug that hole.
They didn't even try it in any other palace but Kamoshidas. It might not have worked in his because it was a school where phones aren't permitted so his cognition didn't allow them to be used.
CriminalGameplay another easy way was editing it’s a still completely black silloet that there extremely talented artist drew

I can’t figure out who says “One man is responsible for every single instance.” I think it’s Yusuke, but the voice in the prior line sounds like Yusuke. Does Joker talk with a voice enhancer during this scene? Nobody else in the Phantom Thieves has that deep of a voice. Ryuji is obvious, Yusuke and the third voice are harder to make out. Any thoughts?
We can cut out Joker easily, since he only speaks once throughout the entire cutscene.
The best way to figure this out is to think about the type of person who would say something like this. The three that would say something along these lines are Haru, Yusuke, and Makoto. Haru's a no-brainer; her voice is too high pitched. However, Koko and Yusuke have voices that are, at least, close to that pitch.
Like you said, the voice former to this sentence sounds like Yusuke (and most likely is) but this one sounds like him too. But, if you listen closely, you can hear a female like voice saying this sentence, so I believe that it's safe to say that Makoto is saying this. Hope this helps!
Yusuke can be identified by the way he talks - he's eloquent, whereas Ryuji is vulgar.
Joker doesn't talk with a voice enhancer at all - unlike the others, his identity is already confirmed by the police, so there's little reason to hide it.
This is 100% one of my favorite moments in the game.

Hyped doesn't come close to how I felt here on my first playthrough. I was giggling maniacally, overflowing with excitement! One of my favourite scenes in all of gaming, because of the sheer buildup to it, and how everything links back to the one man this is addressed to. The man that ruined the protagonist's life, because a criminal record is nigh impossible to shake off. Masayoshi Shido.
