"Terror in Times Square" is back in print in its original (and terrible title) "Kiss Your Elbow" under Harlequin's Vintage Collection series and I've been looking for a theater-set mystery so thanks! Keep up the fine work!
Nice collection. Love the quote on the cover of “I, Libertine”: “Gadzooks”, quoth I. “But here’s a saucy bawd!” Never let it be said by our high school teachers that we didn’t once upon a time appreciate Shakespearean or Francis Bacon styled literature, ha!
Hi Gary. You certainly have some eclectic tastes. As a one-genre collector I still enjoy seeing these vintage books because the covers are so fantastic. Also it introduces me to a whole new world of paperback collecting. I'm also delighted to see that you're not too bothered by condition. I appreciate a mint book as much as anybody but, for me, it's more about nostalgia. If a book shows some reading wear - great, that's their purpose. Anyway a nice haul and I enjoyed seeing it. Regards Kenny.
@@kennyrh9269 thanks, Kenny, good to hear from you and glad you liked the video. I like best condition books but sometimes have to take what i can. By the way, i am still holding 6 DAWs from your list. Let me know where to send them to you. All best !
@@garylovisi357 Hello again Gary. My apologies I had no idea that you had 6 DAWs for me. Firstly, I just made another order with Graham Holroyd in New York so it would be useful to know which 6 to avoid duplication. Secondly I would need some instruction on the best way to pay you. I really appreciate your taking the trouble to help me out here. Kind regards Kenny.
@@kennyrh9269 Kenny, the 6 DAWs are 11, 43, 88, 186, 192, and 260. They are gratis, free, from one book lover to another to help with your DAW mission. Email me with your address at gryphonbooks@att.net
I just read that Orrie Hitt Promoter book a couple months ago. It was ok. The blurb on the back doesn't match the characters in the book. Like it's not just a wishy washy blurb, it's totally the wrong book!
I, Libertine! One of the greatest literary hoaxes of all time! I'd love to own that. That was written by Theodore Sturgeon as a joke / dare. What a find!
Good haul!
Nice books...!
Nice haul Gary 👍
Good job Gary. 👍
Those covers are fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
Some nice looking books there, Gary. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah a fun book, it was done as a satire, and the Freas cover art has a lot of intentional errors in it, gadzooks!
The Ewing novel is a collaboration between Sturgeon and Jean Shepherd, I believe.
Yes, i think you are correct. Thank you.
Great stuff from Gary as per. You're the absolute best, man!
@@darkdial thank you so much, glad you enjoyed the video.

If you haven't read "Clans of the Alphane Moon," give it a try. Great Sci-fi!
I love all Phillip K Dick stories. He was so ahead of his time.

Hah, that was the way Beacon did their books. Not always with the right blurbs. Thanks for watching.
Nice little haul! Do you ever run into any of the Max Bolan series by Don Pendleton or Doc Savage by Lester Dent.
Not the Executioner, but sometimes Doc Savage with those great James Bama covers . So cool.

@@allfictionisfantasy the cover art by Freas also has a lot of insistences.
