Great steet running. Trains, vehicles and people all going about their day and interacting together. Good to see that. Thankyou for posting. Oops I almost forgot. What a beautiful GATX car, tagged onto the lead engine.
Hello from the UK. I have watched quite a lot of US street running on TH-cam railfan videos, especially during our lockdown. There is something really surreal about watching a train run a long a road past residential housing or even near shops and commercial buildings. Here in the UK, I don't think that we have any street running left. We also have laws that railways must be fenced off and so we don't get to see trains running near people's gardens etc. when not technically street running. This one here is a really great example, thanks for posting your video.
Nice catch of the STREET RUNNING TRAIN, they're my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! I've been to LaGrange Kentucky and seen them where they get 6-8 trains each day and no less than a mile and a half long.
' nice slow train in the small town... but graffiti art spray is a lookking so terrible ugly... better time to clean up remove the graffiti and clean paint again
Love NYS&W the tracks were shut down for years through my town and then boom there they were again... love hearing the train coming through town!

That first boxcar looked brand new.
When I got a complaint from a citizen about a train move like this one, I told him that the railroad was there first, and to just suck it up...
David; You're totally right, there Were MORE TRAIN TRACKS across the Country, Before they Started to Build ANY PROPER ROADS.
nice. Vintage West End. An Edward Hopper moment.
I love "street runners" a rare sight. And the driver in the silver Malibu should have home a couple of minutes earlier...HAHA
Super !!!!!! James.

Might be hops for the West End Brewery.
Not quite. Those are coal hoppers.

They carry coal in those hopper cars
@@johnstrong6189 no... coal is ONLY carried in OPEN TOP hopper cars... these are COVERED HOPPERS... no coal in covered hoppers
Beautiful video! It is a shame that street running is becoming rarer by the year because of abandonment of the routes.
Makes me thirsty for a cold Utica Club !
