This is smart and super-helpful. I'd not seen the Conversions or Product Details in the Mayco website. Also, the brush descriptions at 42:30 is great. And roll glaze at 1:06:00. Thanks.
Hello! I love the way you showed to do the inside part of a glass. I have one question though. When we do the dilution of 3 parts of stroke and coat to 1 of water to roll on the inside, is it enough to make the piece food proof? Or I would need a coat of transparent glaze as well?
Hello! Please, would only one layer of foundation be enough to make it food safe and waterproof? Or would I need to add a transparent glaze on top? I’m watching it now and it’s super helpful! Thank you!
@@carolredig1 hello. Stroke and coat doesn't need a top layer. Its shiny on its own. Also its foodsafe and waterproof good seal. 2 or 3 layers needed per color.
If you are applying the glaze to greenware before the bisque fire, always make sure to leave space for outgassing! If the problem persists, please contact our technical team with clay body, glazes, and firing information! Technical@maycocolors.com or 614-675-2031

You should not need to add a clear coat.
Can you mix red and yellow to get an orange color?
You can mix all of our Stroke and Coat colors to get your own unique colors.
Hello. A question. So the white layer as a foundation is just white stroke and coat?
Yes! SC-16 Cotton Tail.

I am having so much crawling when I am using stroke and coat during Bisc firing at cone 04-06. I usually apply 2 coats. Any suggestions?
