    My fiance's mom is named Karen and she thinks the stereotype is *hilarious*
    She recently made her profile picture a meme about Karens and no less than 6 women commented on it saying it was offensive and 5 of them unfriended her because she wouldn't take it down. One of them accused her of targeting her specifically and my fiance's mom was like "your name's Kathy and we haven't spoken in 5 years. But if the shoe fits😘"

    Living in a household with a Karen has taught me one thing; They feed off of arguing with us. It makes them stronger.
    If you encounter a Karen in the wild it's best to avoid eye contact as to prevent being attacked. If you accidently made eye contact the Karen will spray a pheromone at you. Point in a direction behind the Karen and yell "LOOK! A MANAGER!" and quickly run away. Don't be fooled though! If you think you've escaped them the pheromone will eventually attract more Karens to your general direction. You should not return to your home immediately or else it will become their target.
    As a safety precaution turn on your 5G on your smartphone, wear a mask that says "I am vaccinated" and always, ALWAYS keep your eyes open. The wild supermarket is a treacherous place. We pray for your safety.

I don't refuse the older kids just because they're teenagers. A lot of them or great effort into their costumes. @@FFKonoko yeah pretty much lol. I live in South Asia fyi. My parents have never once brought up the topic. We're taught sex ed roughly at school at around the age of 13, and then again with more depth at the age of 16. Sex ed isn't at all necessary before the age of 18 here because you aren't allowed that much freedom compared to more Western countries, so we don't really have relationships that early. That's also influenced by the fact that having relationships early on is kinda frowned upon. Well, it's not that we aren't completely restricted when it comes to having relationships, teens just don't have an interest in doing so (cultural things which I can't elaborate). And usually here, you'd go looking for a partner after you've started working, which is at the very least after 19 years of age. So yeah, cultures play a huge role too, and cultures can differ from one another vastly.

It’s only a possibility, but the idea is still there! Because scientists don’t know what Planet 9 is, there are many theories about it. One of the theories is that it is a primordial black hole! Primordial black holes are basically extremely weak black holes that formed during the Big Bang. This theory would explain why we’ve never been able to see Planet 9, because black holes are invisible. Before anyone gets worried, we wouldn’t be in any danger if this theory was true. Primordial black holes are extremely weak to the point where if there was one in our solar system, we would never be affected by it.

    One thing to point out is that what’s “too much” can vary from person to person. For most, 3-4 lbs. (or more) of candy a week is way too much. For someone severely hypoglycemic, like me, it’s actually necessary. I don’t gain weight from high sugar consumption or get sick from it because my body burns through it at an accelerated rate. If I don’t eat that much, I get very messed up because my blood sugar will bottom out hard. Some people don’t realize the opposite of diabetic is a thing and it’s just as dangerous.

    • @Acidfunkish
      @Acidfunkish 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hypoglycemia means that you react to sugars more quickly and more severely than most people. Someone who has hypoglycemia reacts really poorly to eating sugar, alone. Unlike most people, it will cause your blood sugar to peak and then spike way back down, which can cause you to black out.
      People with hypoglycemia do better by reducing the amount of refined sugars and starches they eat. If you just don't eat refined sugars, you can probably even fast for decent amounts of time, without any peaks or valleys in your blood sugar. But if you eat sugar or simple carbs and then try to fast, you will likely pass out.
      I'd visit your doctor for a clarification, because hypoglycemia is not what you think it is.

    • @hollyhartwick3832
      @hollyhartwick3832 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Acidfunkish - I’m not sure what you think you’re correcting. Are you claiming to be a doctor? I’m sugar dependent and frequently get low blood sugar when I don’t have it. Hypo=low. Glycemia=blood glucose. My pancreas produces too much insulin. If you say it’s not hypoglycemia, then what do you think it is, doc?

    • @Acidfunkish
      @Acidfunkish 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@hollyhartwick3832 Doctors recommend people with hypoglycemia eat fewer simple carbs. If you eat things like candy, you release too much insulin, and your blood sugar spikes and then drops within like 15-20 minutes. That's how you're diagnosed.
      Then you're told to AVOID simple carbs, and especially sugar, because they are what cause spikes and dips. You are NOT supposed to be eating a lot of candy, as someone with hypoglycemia. You're supposed to AVOID simple carbs, as much as possible, or - at the very least - eat them with things containing fibre and fat, for slower-releasing energy.
      You're currently setting yourself up for diabetes.

    • @hollyhartwick3832
      @hollyhartwick3832 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@Acidfunkish - I ALREADY release too much insulin. My body does this on its own. If I don’t eat sweets to counteract it, my blood sugar drops to dangerous levels, just like when a type 1 diabetic gets too much insulin and has to eat sugar tablets to fix it. The difference is it’s not an occasional mistake for me, it’s everyday life. Maybe you should let me worry about what my doctor recommends instead of try to give strangers medical advice you read online. You’re not qualified to make these statements.

      In the future, you could probably legitimately go up front or to the ticket/employer at the door or the nearest employee.
      Just politely say, "Excuse me, I'm sorry to bother you, but I am watching (insert movie) in theater (insert designation.) There is a party of individuals who are talking extremely loudly and disrupting the movie. When asked if they could please talk more quietly, they threatened to throw items at us. Is there anyway that someone could talk to them or that we could have a refund? It's been very hard to focus on the movie."
      Obviously it would be better to ask towards the beginning of the movie, since towards the end you have still technically received what you paid for (the time in the theater in this case). Or in certain cases like it being a children's movie, or if you ask and the person is being disruptive due to a disorder, but it certainly doesn't sound like this case was either scenario.
      It isn't being a Karen to politely ask if an employee can see about doing something about another movie goer who isn't following theater etiquette- particularly as theater etiquette are rules in many cases, as it ruins the experience for other individuals.

It’s her fault you weren’t correct, and she shouldn’t be punished for making sure her peers are getting the proper info since apparently this school isn’t so much about leaning snd more about blindly learning to follow authority.“ and then they kicked me out of school because they knew I wouldn’t get in trouble and be punished into listening.

In particular, they're used to how 'things used to be' so now that they can't treat everyone else like absolute shit, they feel like they are being 'deprived.'
