    A few more safety suggestions:
Don't do this if you aren't a trained chemist. If this is not enough to convince you, read my sulfuric acid safety manifesto which follows. You might want to run to the bathroom first as this could take a while. (Edited: Technically it's possible to do this safely and NOT be a trained chemist or a t least someone with significant lab experience, but in my experience amateurs tend to get sloppy or forget an important safety rule eventually.)
A lab coat is good. A rubber apron is better. Lab coats reduce the amount of chemicals that get through to your skin by adding an extra layer of cloth that can be removed after exposure. Rubber aprons completely stop the acid.
Do this under a fume hood or if you insist in doing it in your home, do it under an exhaust hood or outdoors. The fumes from the acid and from the reaction can irritate or even scar your lungs. Theoretically you could die, but unless you have a medical condition (like asthma or emphysema), get a really strong whiff right out of the bottle or you're doing this in a small, confined area like a closet, you PROBABLY won't die. Lung scarring is no joke though even if you live. You might also induce chemical pneumonia which is potentially fatal.
Operate under the assumption that you WILL get some in your eyes or on your skin or soaked into your clothing. Can you get to some means of gently rinsing your eyes while blinded? Is there a shower or garden hose or a swimming pool or some other means of rapidly rinsing it from your skin/clothing? Again, can you get to this water source while unable to see? Be prepared to get naked fast if you get some on your clothes. Are you in a situation where getting naked fast would be too embarrassing or illegal? Don't do it then. If you get this stuff in your eyes, your eyelids will clamp shut from the pain. It is an uncontrollable reflex. YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO OPEN YOUR EYES WITHOUT PRYING THE LIDS OPEN WITH YOUR FINGERS! Every second counts when you get sulfuric acid in your eyes. A very, very short exposure might result in little or no vision loss. A few seconds more and you'll need a cornea transplant. A bit longer and there's no fixing it.
As the video poster noted, safety goggles are a must! A full face shield is another viable option. A fume hood with the see-through shield lowered is a good additional precaution, but not a substitute for goggles/face shields. REGULAR SAFETY GLASSES ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!! I don't care if your high school science teacher let you get away with regular safety glasses. They are NOT good enough.
Although this experiment doesn't involve water, a few more safety tips involving acid and water follow:
Sulfuric acid gets hot when it mixes with water, as in hot enough to boil. It can spatter easily when this happens so don't assume that all you have to do is pour very carefully and you'll be okay.
Add Acid - A chemistry safety rule that means always add acid to water and not the other way around. This way if it suddenly boils, you're more likely to get splashed with hot slightly acidic water than with undiluted hot acid.
Sulfuric acid is one of the acids which most readily dissolves human flesh, ESPECIALLY if it is hot and as previously mentioned mixing in water gets sulfuric acid really hot. This is most dangerous where losing a tiny amount of flesh is a really bad thing, like losing the surface layer of your eyeballs, face, genitalia, etc.

Yeah when handling concentrated sulfuric acid you should we're acid-proof gloves, which are a lot thicker. The ones used here would probably be disintegrated immediately and then stick to your skin, making things even worse in comparison to not wearing gloves at all. Also you'd usually fill the acid from the bottle into an empty beaker first.

In 1973 I went to downtown Chicago with a couple buddies. We brought a plastic wastecan, 10 pounds of sugar, sulphuric acid, and distilled water. We put the can in front of the Tribune building just after we put the sugar and acid in the can. The trick to getting a reaction as I was told was that you had to toss a glass or so of distllled water in after mixing the other 2. The water would react violently with the pure acid, and kick off the attack on the H22 O11 part of the sugar molecule. That is molecular water, and it is the reason the thing works in the first place! Few compounds love water like concentrated sulphuric acid. Even in a molecular 2-to-1 ratio as part of other chemicals! Anyway, we drove off. I walked by the can and threw in the water a couple minutes later while my buddies waited down Michigan Ave. Sure enough, it caused bedlam! Fire department showed up, no one would go near the seething mass! The whole idea of the Trib was to get it in the paper, and it did!! The boiling mass of carbon was several times the size of the can, which of course melted from the heat of the reaction!! You should have seen the people around there when it started off!!

It was like potassium chlorate, sulfur, and phosphorus/carbon compounds. Just things that burn and make cool looking ash. But now teachers can only use soda and vinegar like a homeless guy puking beer foam.
