Even simple chords are gold trough your vibrato and your dynamic...The first time I listened to Tim's playing, it reminded me a pianist with the sound of A Holdsworth...Whatever I'm still impressed, great musical vocabulary and personality

Such a good tone, he always finds ways to bring forward the natural qualities of his insruments.

Wish I would have had access to a lesson like this back in 1979 😍

I like this idea so much. It's a simple yet effective way to play chord tones without playing the same old arpeggios over and over. It sounds very fresh and interesting! Thanks!

Thank you sooooooooo much for your work Mr. Miller. As an intermediate who is barely getting ok at improvising over changes this material is really eye opening and your examples concise and stunningly beautiful.

The guitar is (no mather the reasons that cause this) an instrument condemned to have it's basic and most popular forms replicated.
That's why Tim is incredible, it seems like the guitar's fretboard is infinite every time he shows us a different approach.
Personally, I am considerably enriching my language with the 2-1-2 and 3-1-3 systems since a few months, and I plan to systematize it from now on for all scales.
It is important not to understand this material as instant formulas, but to mix all the juxtapositions found in each area, dedicating 1 week to a 4-fret sector if necessary. The results are incredible

Hi Tim ! What kind of amp or gear do you use to get this acoustic sound from your guitar ? Just ordered the same Kiesel model with the piezzo and I’m curious to know how do you get this tone. Would you be ok to share your secret ? 🙏

so, lemme know if I learned: on a d7 chord, play a d7 arpeggio, right?
but seems Tim plays addittional notes over arpeggios, could be?
