Very nice! My Series 2A came fitted with a hard top and swing door. It also came with a tail gate which I fitted while I was reconditioning the door. It looked cool but I prefer the door. If I ever remove the roof I’ll put it back on. Still keep all parts with the car. These vehicles can last indefinitely if we maintain them and reuse what we can.
Thanks Dale for sharing this method "How to do this !" because the Land Rover parts catalogue is a poor reference on this topic. I enjoyed watching. This morning I received a brand new Tailgate from John Craddock Ltd. It is a Britpart part ref. 320604, sold at L210.25. It fits my Land Rover 88 series 3, 1983 same colour as yours ! Just one thing. Maybe the music could be not so loud on your next videos ? (from France)
Just found your channel, love what your doing, nice to see the old number plate, UEY registered on Isle of Anglesey, North Wales, my old stomping ground 😀
So glad I stumbled across your channel today, I have a 1974 SWB series 3 I am doing up. the tail gate is my project this week so it’s been great watching. Cheers mate
Haha thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it. I’m thinking of using less music in the future. I’m still figuring out my style and structure. Thanks again.
Very nice!

Great video - I love the way you are tackling this. I’d remove the rear seats - a better look for a pickup in my view.
Thank you. I appreciate that. I’m leaning towards agreeing with you! Maybe in the summer if I take the cab off they can go back in.
Great videos Dale !

Looks great 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video, Dale. I appreciate the time you took for your shots, editing, and narration - of course on the LR, as well.
Thank you mate. It’s a ton of work but I enjoy it immensely.

Thank you! And yes, well spotted! It was from isle of Anglesey originally.

Genius with twisting the chain, I had that exact issue and it was driving me mad! Thank you!!
😄 Amazing! Glad it helped!
Nice job, thank you for sharing
Thank you for watching!
Leave the seats, you can sit on them and have a little picnic or if you decide to get a canvas for the summer months it'll look cool. 👍🏻
Haha! I agree, maybe in the summer if I take the cab off.
Leave the rear bench seats out 👍
Thank you 🙏 I’m strongly leaning that way too
Real nice job. I'll buy your spare chain guards if you still have them
Thanks 🙏 dm me your email or your address on Instagram and I’ll post them out to you - no charge 🤙🏼
Paint the drilled holes, nice job BTW
Thank you 🙏 you’re absolutely correct!! I completely forgot to do that 😳 thanks for pointing it out!!
Another great video but could UEY become a rag top in the future??
Thank you mate. I’d love to make UEY a ragtop, I think it’ll look incredible.
Leave seat out paint the tub with raptor paint
Thank you, that's not a bad idea actually!
You still got those chain covers?
I do actually!
@@DaleReubin so Huzzit! Noge yapie! Dunno how to do this. Give you my postcode on this forum, or what? PM?
Leave rear seats out.
Thanks Tom, I agree. I think it looks great without them. Let’s catch up soon.
Wouldn't be safe for passengers anyway

merci d'avoir regardé, je vais essayer de trouver comment traduire les vidéos
Good work mate. I’m enjoying the restoration vids except for the overly intrusive head banger music. 🙉😱🤓🙏🦘
