I hope his wife watches this video and sees how self absorbed and deflecting of full responsibility he still is. She tried for years but now probably needs to reclaim her confidence and dignity in a new respectful relationship.

This person is probably not a good example of a spouse who wants his marriage to be saved. He has admitted zero responsibility but instead chooses to blame his wife for his cheating. Horrible. Blames her for communication issues, lack of “understanding” etc.
The part where he references his 4 children and how she is still his “wife” whether she likes it or not…sickening. Where was that thought when you we’re screwing every woman who looked your way? Horrendous. I am very pro marriage but his ex wife in this case, is much better off with someone else than him. He has a lot of work to do on himself before he anyone even considers a relationship with someone so broken.

Very commendable, it takes a lot for someone to admit their wrongs, seek help and not give up. I pray that your wife sees the love you have for her and your willingness to do the work for your marriage. You mentioned how important it is to seek the right help in this situation and I couldn't agree more. So many of us seek "professionals" that aren't specialized in this scenario which in turn can lead to a potential death of a marriage. Keep trying and have faith.

As an adult who had to survive a horrible childhood due to my Parents being incompatible divorce was a saving grace. Why insist on people staying together if they do not live another. Your site is helpful but you neglect what children have to endure
Sometimes divorce should be done sooner than later don’t drag it out for the “ children “
    That is unfair

I've been married for 39 years I've been talking to my first love from high school for the past 10 months My marriage actually sucks I've been wanting out of this thing forever come to find out recently My wife was abused as a child by her stepfather and she is still carrying it to this day I now realize why she pushed me away all these years. I know she loves me but I have fallen out of love with her. It's a little bit late I'm ready to move on and I know I have a lot to lose.

@@larryrichins7887 As someone who has also been abused I just want to say that I'm so sorry.
If your wife says that she loves you but has rejected you perhaps physically I would bet it wasn't personal. It wasn't against you, it probably wasn't even about you. It was all her stuff. Programming that was interfering, messing with her emotional responses to you. I'm sure you feel bitter, I get that but your wife is suffering. She needs love and support to go through with recovering her missing pieces. If you can't do it then tell her that and go ahead and go with grace. Just be honest, life is short. I hope the best for both of you.

While these videos are helpful - the guests need some coaching on getting to the point. Most of this can be summed up in less than 15 minutes. You lose audiences with so much repetition, “uh’s” and “um’s”.

Hard to be concise and polished when you're not reading from a script I imagine.
I personally think the important part of this type of video is the sharing of raw emotion. Hard to be open and edit yourself at the same time. No wonder Toastmasters is a thing.
Editing will make a huge difference but in the meantime the listener can always increase the playback speed.
