With this version of the song I sense a more underground feeling with more lava and hazards. This remix perfectly fits this zone and shows the effort that went into this. If this was in the original I would only want to play it more. The ocremix never stops amazing me with their incredible remixes.
See, this is what happens when you cross Sonic & Knuckles with The Matrix. Nice and intense, had a nice beat, it was rearranged in a way that made the track seem fresh yet familiar. Everything a remix should be. Nice work here.

I've been wanting to mod the classic Sonic games with this. Especially now that Jivemaster released a whole remix album for Sonic 1, Green Hill Sessions, I would love to do it to Sonic 1!!

whenever I hear lava reef's music I can't help but think of the lyrics to 'lover reef' despite how painfully cheesy that track is
