The way I see it there’s a lot more worse things we could be doing with our money so after handling our responsibilities, why not use some of it to embrace our nostalgia of arcades
Being old enough to appreciate the original arcade game, I ordered the first time around star wars arcade from 1up from the USA and imported it to the UK, you cannot go wrong with this.
I’m really enjoying it I find myself trying to constantly improve on my score and just the aesthetics of it brings me back to it every time to play. Actually wish I could have experienced the original you are lucky
I have the earlier version. No coin op door, but I prefer the Games names on the front and I added a couple small stick on coin slots. The side graphics are better, but my t-molding is painted light blue to match the art work. I made a 4 inch riser to go under the 1up riser and it looks more realistic and comfortable to play. Some fluorescent old school game room carpet and black light I'm back in high school. I have this and the Defender 12-1. Enjoy
Congrats on the Star Wars Arcade. The asteroid part you're suppose to dodge them. The tow cable part only works on the AT-AT aka imperial walkers, aim for the legs. 👌
I just git this. It's being shipped to me . I am disabled so I am curious if it has to be put om the riser to play ? or Can I just not use the Riser and sit in and office Chair and play?

Even though I don't particularly love Arcade1up cabinets. I think they are too cheaply made like a piece of IKEA furniture IMO. I love seeing videos like this that shows a hard-working man being able to get one and put in his Gameroom. Respect that.
