Aww guys 😢 hate it when things don't go to plan. The first time I broke down because I put diesel in my car 🤦🏼♀️😐 I had to wait four hours for AA and I cried the whole time! I was so scared I had broken my late dad's car. But thankfully the men saved it 😊 Well done to all of you for handling it the situation so well. Really hope you all enjoy your holiday you deserve it so much!

Many years ago my husband and I were supposed to go to the beach for a few days. We’d saved for this trip for months. We’d already planned to have the brakes replaced on our vehicle that morning. Should have been a quick job, but the man found a bolt that had bent and he couldn’t get the brakes replaced. We went to every auto parts store there was but no one had the part. It was considered “dealer only”. We went to a local dealer and they didn’t have it. It’s a part they’d never had to replace before. We finally found a part store that worked so hard to repair the part well enough we could get the brake work completed. We were an entire day behind on our trip. The anxiety I experienced that day was so bad. We ultimately ended up getting to our destination and we had a fabulous time.

Jojo is very well raised. Thinking of giving someone extra money for their help is very kind gesture.
I can relate to vehicle troubles. Growing up, I don't remember very many vacations where we didn't have car troubles (probably because they weren't as memorable). Mom always had the car looked at before we left and then again before we went home but we still broke down. Mom was good at taking our minds off of our fear. We didn't have cell phones so we either walked to the next town or tried to push the car (a single mom and 3 kids). The worst breakdown though was as a parent, and I was traveling with a mechanic in my car. I have no idea how my mom kept it together like she did.

Opened its first store in 1994 in Victoria. Bunnings failed in England but is Huge here in Australia . It's owned by Wesfarmers who also on Kmart, Officeworks, Target. history lesson over lol.

My aunt used to live near Alton towers. In the summer she would get loads of traffic past her house from people going to Alton Towers so she always got given free tickets for Alton Towers.

Gosh that was stressful, did you get home OK? I would cry too! On another note the room and hotel looks great! I have been eyeing up a trip to stay at the cbeebies Hotel. My son would LOVE to stay in the bing themed room. I work at wilko and I'm being made redundant so it's going to be hard justifying that vacation 😅 my son is disabled so I know he will be pretty limited at the theme park itself. He loves to be in water so I'm definitely considering the water park!

It might be worth getting a premium annual pass if you don't have one already, and getting 25% off through the Merlin holiday club. It's also worth contacting the resort and telling them your situation as I know they do a lot for people with accessibility needs including concessions. I hope you get to stay there with your son and create loads of wonderful memories, you deserve a nice holiday. I kind of regret not taking stay at the Cbeebies Hotel with JoJo when he was younger.
If you can't manage to stay at that hotel stay at the main Alton Towers hotel, and tell them your situation and they might give you some passes to go and see the shows at the Cbeebies Hotel. All the best. Sending big love - Katie 🤗

I always said to my sister and husband that you know you have done well raising your children when the children are selfless and humbled and respectful for to other human beings. my nephew is 12 years old and niece is 7 last year I was so broke I couldn't afford to buy them presents and they both said that's okay aunty seeing you again is all that matters. I was a mess.

Yeh my weekend wasn’t great because I had karate 🥋 in the morning till 12:30 and I was upset and anxious about my mum and I had no contact with her on a Saturday afternoon and finally Tuesday and yesterday I managed to speak with her and she is back home now after an unexpected day when I found out the worst had happened and now I’m doing ok after I nearly had lost my mum. My holiday coming up in October 2024 on the 21st because it will be my birthday by then and I will be 21 and my dad had already planned it for me on a 🛳️ and one of the places that I’m going to is San Sebastián, Switzerland,Milan for 13 days but I lose a day up and a day back because of the flight from Melbourne airport to Barcelona and back to Melbourne but I think it will be a great experience and I know when I’m out on the bay and everyone would sing happy birthday to me that I don’t know very well. But when I get back to Melbourne and then there’s another surprise that my dad’s mates are organising for me that I don’t know about but it will be very interesting and special. And I hope you are having a great time. But in the future I might come back to London in the future and visit other places as well i never been to before.

@FamilyFreedom yeh she's doing OK now and she's back home from hospital and I know she wanted to see me but I couldn't go to her house because I had things on and my brother went to Bali with his girlfriend and I was home with my dad until this morning he went away for work so he left me at home till this afternoon and I went to go stay with my auntie tonight and tomorrow. Next week, my mum has to do rehab after she had a heart attack and had 2 stents put in. Yeh, I am looking forward to my holiday next autumn around the 4th of October as I fly from Melbourne airport to Barcelona and catch a cruise ship and explore some places I've never been to on the cruise ship like San Sebastian and Milan and Zurich even Geneva for my 21st birthday as my dad had it organised since September and we have booked it already because I haven't had my birthday yet in 27 days from now because I'm not 20 yet but I will be 20 soon. It marks 1 year before I go on my holiday and because 6,50 people sing me happy birthday. I will get some presents from my dad and my mum and from my friends and family and some from my auntie . And there will be another surprise when I get back to Melbourne my dad's mates are organising something special for me I won't know what it is. And yesterday it was hot in Melbourne 28 degrees and I couldn't handle it I was battling through it and I survived it because I had karate and I started going down hill as I didn't look too good and I had to take my meds to make me feel better after I nearly passed out while exercising in the heat and it happened to me nearly 3 times and once I got home from karate I did go straight to my room to rest my head on my pillow and today I feel better than yesterday evening. And I have been chilling and did the washing and fed my cat and dog .
Thank you I really appreciate that and I'm glad that my mum survived from her heart attack recently and I am not sad anymore because she is still alive because I nearly lost my mum and it was shocking and I didn't expect it to happen to her so soon but at first I was upset and terrified but now I'm calm since after 23rd of September till today .
