I used to absolutely love the big splash as a kid. I was gutted when they replaced it with that rubbish black hole water slide. Although I’m not surprised at all I’m guessing it went against health and safety regulations or something like that. Brilliant to see footage of it, I searched so much to a while back to try and find some and couldn’t find anything.

Wow! I can’t believe you have footage of the Big Splash - I remember going on that ride, which I can best describe as a ‘car crash simulator’.

Glad you like it! Yes there are a few videos of other UK parks from back in the 80’s and 90’s on my channel. Lots of USA and Europe stuff too.
