World Series preview?? I was 9 in 2000 10 minutes off the bridge in jersey. 90% of my friends all yankee fans..my first real devastating learning experience in sports and commitment to my Mets forever after that and didn’t abandon ship. This team feels different..even from 2015 team you can really feel the energy and chemistry. I’ll be a game 3 if it happens!!
I Agree. There’s nothing like it. What I hope to see more of is the subway series landing on 9/11 like they did last year. It was a great way of remembering the lives we lost and brings the city together despite all the craziness that goes around and to see then play at that date was phenomenal.

Kudos to McNeil for leveling out that swing and taking the single for an RBI (he was falling back into his uppercut habits before the break) and for making a great play on D. And kudos to Pete. He's evolved into being a complete hitter, not just a power hitter. His big double in the first was on a quality pitch. He went down and drove it. He understand the situation, and he's not always swinging for the seats. I like this team.
