The Captain might, but nope usually the f/o will do that. Captain will always call to greet the passengers and tell them the flight information. My dads a Capt. on the 777 for UA.
Long takeoff roll. 8000 feet for a 752 isn't common except in high altitudes, and it's a short flight too. As to who is flying, I think one usually flies and the other handles the radio transmissions. Not sure which one is captain here, could be either.

Not a female captain, first officers make the cabin calls. and this is not her leg.
The female is not flying it. Whenever someone does radios, the other is flying the plane.
