  • I recently bought an Astron BB-30M. This is a 12V battery switch for hooking up to your radio and power supply. It auto switches in the event of a power loss.

    depending on what brand BM module your battery is using the. incorrect charger/voltage. you prob won't get your battery properly charged or full life, top balance prob won't be engaged etc. there are ham brands that will work perfect and i think better for your application

      Yes, I was actually planned to do that, when a giant tree limb came thru the roof of my shop. Literally. Should be out within the next week or so.

      I don't know, probably not. This is pretty much a ham-specific piece of gear. I think the newer version does support 24vdc.
