    This is the second year in a row I've owed $4,000+ after filing. Married. My job with bonus added puts me right on the border with the 24% bracket, but then with my wife's salary we go above 48-49k over the 24% starting wage. She does Roth IRA and I do Roth 401k. I also do a max HSA family contribution per year, but we still end up owing taxes. I'm thinking we change to pre-tax for my salary/bonus.
