- The best corners that you can take. When maxing out the power on these corners it's SO important to press the shoot button as soon as contact is made with the ball from the corner taker.

*TECHNIQUE*
Remember to set it to 6 yard box technique - aim towards the corner of the 6 yard box at the FAR post - 100% power whist pushing FORWARD on L-stick, tap the lob pass button repeatedly (this actually seems to help) - then press SHOOT a SPLIT SECOND the corner taker kicks the ball.
The first technique I've been using in my Borussia Dortmund Master League and I've scored more in this Master League than my entire season with Manchester United and Leeds United Master League!
Hi Spoony. I have been averaging 1-2 goals per game on master league using your 6-yard-box aim technique, but using DASH corner tactic. It's f---ing deadly. You usually have 2-3 players charging at the ball unmarked. Try it out.

You'll actually find that the amount of goals scored in rl from corners is extremely low, like 5 percent or less.
Correct. And the fact that there's no reliable "technique" that works every time shows, that this is just a somewhat realistic simulation.
Exactly what I hate about FIFA too. If you have Ronaldo on the box you can head it really easily
I am Porto fan, we score 95% of our goals from corners or free kicks lol
I love how your advice is never "this one secret trick," but rather advice on how the game works and here's some stuff that works a lot. One of the reasons I'm loving the game this year.
Annoys me when I see "100% goal" in TH-cam titles for the clicks. Feel sorry that people are trying to repeat what they're seeing instead of a TH-camr trimming clips and just showing clips of goals and not the 100s of attempts they used.
I agree that there's no perfect corner. The two-option corner is the one I've used a lot, as it gives a lot of combos. I'll try next time your combo, it seems to work in many ways. I've also used the option that brings a player in the limits of the box for a high cross in the box, which works if I have good head players. Your last option is impressive, but I've not been able to score a goal with long shot, so I tend to count on combos of any type. Otherwise, I send them all to far post, so as to have a free header in the near post. But anyway, it's difficult to score from a corner in any way, lower than 5% of goals. In some cups, I barely score even one goal from a corner or a phase than begins from a corner. I have total of 8 Konami cups so far, only 4 goals scored from corner.
In Spanish we call them Gili corner, literally dumbass corner, in real life you will always lose the ball, but in the game if you don't even have tall players, then 2 options is the best chance.
the two options thing is all due to formation because sometimes it passes it to the player on the left whose supposed to be making the run
Erm, yeah but you can still fashion a chance. It's never going to be the same which is kinda what I said. The players position will always vary but the two options is best as you'll still maintain possession of the ball.
Nice video as always matey! I find the "2 options" can also be quite effective to create space in the box and then dink the corner in for a near post run. Scored a few recently using this technique.
Spoony been trying myself and your advice to, and I've find that when you mix it up, (I mean literally mix it up ALL COMBINATIONS) like use every option available, for example full power, low power, six yard box, far post, two options, basically all of them you have a more success, which if you think about it is more enjoyable, instead of using the same which eventually will become boring.. Just my opinion tho,... Try it guys you'll be surprised, since I've mixed it up I've scored way more from corner kicks... Good luck

I found setting it to Far Post and then drilling it low to the penalty spot works well
I've tried all but had most success with 6 yard box for sure. If you're not pushing forward on L-Stick then far post can work but you're lowering chance of scoring as smaller target to aim at

Waheeyy Vanakin Skywalker ftw. First touch, generally just release sprint. Then angle the L-Stick depending which way I'm receiving ball, ideally 45 degree angle way the player is facing for a quick first touch

You mean scoring direct? I don't but I've tried...it's pointless. Takes 20-30 attempts to score once. Check my Pro corner kick tutorial mate

Spoony ~ in your opinion what PS4 version is the best for local head to head matches? We've given up on 2020 due to wanky AI and recently crazy fouls and have been playing 19 exclusively for a few weeks. We are just looking for a good sim experience with believable AI.

Thanks dude, 2019 is good but local matches...2018 or 2017 are even better. 2017 is faster though than 2018.

There is a video on yt called FORMASI HASAN PAJANI JUARA ESPORTS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP PES 2020 that shows his tactics.
Maybe you could check out that and the way he plays. So far he is the best player at guarding the ball I've ever seen, using body contacts etc. I'm sure you could do great analysis of his style and set ups.

@@SpoonyPizzas It's worked a couple more times too although cuz it caused mayhem in the area rather than directly going in.
Also tried the short corner trick and people don't expect it. Scored from that too. It's good cuz you can mix it up and be unpredictable. I generally prefer short corners cuz it lets you keep the pressure on and most importantly not get countered so easily!
Thruball 3 pass assist efootball 20! Lol. I wish they'd nerf it a bit as I feel forced into 1 playstle. Deep defensive line, high press, wingers tucked in tight as I can in my club or 3 cf in Matchday with preset teams and 1-2 your way to victory! It's actually nice when someone doesn't play like that so I can play a different way too. I like to play football but unfortunately football games online don't reward you for that.

Spoony man, that first technique is so sweaty! Think people already try to do that online haha. Exploit the keeper/defender AI where they turn into morons in a scramble. Hope people don't get encouraged to do it even more lol. Most people just select a man in the box and head backwards from near post though - an incredibly glitchy and nonsense goal that worked last year as well.
Hey dude, if the goalie is of high quality I don't think this will cause an issue; Against De Gea, he caught like 98% of them. The recommended option is 2 options and perhaps easier to create a chance (vs AI) - vs humans... bit hit an miss if they're aware what is going on.
look the trick is do what you did but use off ball control and choose the second player and move him and shoot all of this must be quick 90 % works against alisson

It is now very low percentage of scores from corners in 2020. I started to give pass instead of wasting time with kicks. (( I think pes 2019 was better about corners.
