Another skill no one is talking about in PES 2020, is the fake through ball, that they even showed in the official trailer. It really helps on to the cut the defenders and give stunning passes to your attackers. It works as follows:
Shoot + Through Ball
Cross + Through Ball
Just like you would do for a fake shot or fake cross, instead of pressing pass button, press triangle.

Spoony Pizzas I dont think it requires special skill. Just as anybody can do a fake shot. Anybody can do a fake through ball as well.

Loving the videos.... came back to PES, or ISS as i remember it. Struggling with the controls... probably doesn't help i changed the control scheme to custom...doh.
The trick at 4.07 does a defender actually need to be close for that to happen? Or the player need a specific skill? I cannot seem to repeat that one

You have to time it when they're running along side you. Works 8 times out of 10. They will catch you back up unless you've got Bellerin lol.

A thing i like to do online is press circle button full power then at last moment i cancel the cross it works so good lol

I use d-pad and will never be able to use analogue so I'm pretty screwed doing this move and probably a fair few others. I wish they'd stop assuming that everybody has tiny, nimble fingers!

Thanks dude. Nah, MyClub is super arcade with all those legends and training 99 stats. This game is going to be beautiful offline ML though! The beauty about PES is most players don't have any 99 stats and the majority are good at a few things and average at others. So it's about finding the combination to play a style of football to suit. With 99s in dribbling, passing, shooting etc, find that it's too easy to execute stuff. Played online and noticed midfielders cannot be caught. Speed is lethal in this game and I fear for myclub with those 99 speed/explosive power type guys. Run down wing and cross spam could be a tactic. We shall see though

@@SpoonyPizzas Absolutely agree. Though playing unassisted you can imagine that I'm not good enough to be matched up against the 1000+ rated players often, so I get pretty good matchups. The top players know how to exploit the 99ers so you've no chance, but in and around the 600 rated mark I get good matches, even against full god squads.
Though it *IS* fucking frustrating when they hit those laser guided high through balls magnetized to the toe of the onrushing striker! :p
@@higgins007 There was a catch up bug for online play where if you were 2-0 up - your team would start to play worse. Other than that... no games were scripted from the beginning - that would make no sense. I can understand why there is a catch up bug... because if you're rubbish and get smashed 7-0 10 games in a row... you'll be binning the game.
@@SpoonyPizzas I wouldn't call it a bug. It used to be called "rubber banding" and I can't speak for other online modes, but I certainly saw no evidence of it in myClub (over 1000 games).
I also don't like the term "scripting" because it implies a pre-determined "script" of events that the player is powerless to change no matter his inputs. This simply isn't in the game (yes, loads of people believe it is!).
What I prefer to call "momentum" however.... well that's a different matter!

is it flick flick and then flick and hold... or flick and flick and hold? i am just not sure if your filcking the left analog stick twice before one last flick and hold and ru holding r2? i have been trying alot .. cant get it.
It's more of a wiggle, not a full lock wiggle just a half movement of the left stick, try that first... then worry about changing direction. Once you've got the body feint going, it's easy from there

Hey one question here have you tried to make your player let the ball to pass behind him so you can knock out your opponent? I know that in pes 2019 i did it with the sprint button but in pes 20 still haven't found how to do it.
Yes. Special controls and player select. I think that's what you mean :)

R1 x2 because that pushes the ball further ahead as you're coming out of the skill move

Super cancel mate. Look up improved first touch video in my tutorial playlist (also ultimate weapon vid if you've not seen that!!) :) cutting across often lifts the ball up like that...sadly it took Lukaku 3 attempts to control it lmao

do you have to flick in a specific direction? i.e. opposite direction to the actual direction you intend to run
90 degrees from the way your player is facing. Just a half flick
Another useful advice. I just get started to use it... It seems that I will be ready for PES 2020!
PS: Although the demo is already released here in Greece, I will not comment on it, because the net cafe I go to play- when I have free time- will not buy it. Hi mate, get a player sprinting (this will make it easier). Then release ALL controls. Then a half flick of the right stick, 90 degrees to the way the player is running. That's the feint, then just push the left stick in the direction you want to go

Hi, how can i make my ePes 2020 move faster like yours I'm watching now. My phone is ok (Pixel 2 XL) but the Pes 2020 is somehow slow since it has been released, though Pes 2019 was ok then.

Me too lol, i beat everyone in online they try to play as direct as in fifa and i hurt them really bad lol, and after they say L1 + triangle is cheated but they dont know how to defend thats it
True this. Won all of my online games, can't help to think that those are FIFA players trying the demo. Some were rage quitting that I had to be careful afterwards to not keep the goal margin too wide and make it at least enjoyable or bearable for the opponent. After all we need more FIFA players to make the move to PES to make the community larger lol

@@richardmills2562 look up some Pes tutorial vids if you have issues with the new Pes mechanics cause they are different now one thing I love is the super cancel runs it's is overpowered n hard to master in attacking n in defending
I played Pes 16 17 n 18 played against CPU on hardest difficulty on champions League really had fun sadly FIFA took the uefa license

What I will add is that your second touch out of the feint is very big, you can tighten that down quite a bit.
Depends on scenario though, determines how far I push the ball. As a defender is pulled in it makes sense to push it further to lose that defender and move onto the next than give him a chance to get back and tug my shirt

I really like doing this when i have players like Nicolas pepe or messi because i can just feint (square then X) after that to adjust my position and then do a R2 + square shot. But its only effective with a few players( mo salah and sane for example always mess up the shot).
IMPORTANT: Left footed players from the right wing and right footed players from the left wing
Edit: the shot should be at around 60-80% power depending on the player

@@SpoonyPizzas I think you replied to the wrong comment? This is the most effective skill video, at the end you say you will make a video chaining finesse dribbling and the shoulder drop for advanced moves.
And about the clip I mentioned, I always try to run vertically at the defence to get more central and then shoot, it almost never work even when I use the shoulder drop.

On PS4 it's Square and Triangle. Basically the through ball button instead of the short pass button after a shot.

Will be interesting to see how good your own AI defenders are online against the new dribble thing. If they are too easily skinned it could mean the end of covering runs and secondary press! Hope they get the balance right. Don't want AI defenders too OP either or you get the FIFA situation with people just controlling a CDM the whole time!
Haha, defending is definitely more manual than 2019. 2019 people would do the same as those FIFA people. Lol. Especially 11 v 11 when a player drops out and others hold secondary press.
@@SpoonyPizzas Well hopefully it's not "too" manual so the CPU is at least halfway competent against right stick spammers whilst I'm covering a runner or a passing lane! :)
Actually, off the ball controls in defense sounds like a great idea... could move a secondary player with the right stick to cover a runner or a passing lane...

@@higgins007 As for right stick spammers, get close but back off...then soon as they execute their move because they can't cancel the movement, hold or tap X to win the ball.

spoony pizzas...this is the third iteration of PES im trying this on...and it JUST DOESN'T WORK! however much i try to use this to dribble past players...the ball gets nicked off me every time or i end up just running into them.

I love how you can play pes without using any skill moves. Not like Fifa you have to use skill moves in order to dribble past an opponent.
