Update I have full custody of carrah now. Have for about a year now. It's been tough not being part of her life for so long, but she's such a sweet heart. I'm not going to bad mouth her mom at all, but her mom got her taken by cps and that's how I got custody of her. Her mom has no rights at all

UPDATE: A lot changed. He left her almost immediately. He did not stay in her life. He was embarrassed by the whole thing. The bio dad has been 100 percent involved in her life and got joint custody.

Thank you! I was wondering wat happened. That mom is triffling. My soon to be ex husband is perfect for her. The day of my wedding he dropped me and my son back off at home right after we got married, I didn't see him again for 3 days. He slept with a drug dealer the night of my wedding. It was 2 weeks after we got married that I slept with my 'husband', for the first time since marriage. After he was busted his excuse was "I'm a Christian man! Infidelity is a sin!" 🤣 I laughed so hard in his face cuz I knew he was bold face lying! Long story short we split 2 months after getting married. This girl is trash just like my stb ex husband.

1 year ago, Jessie updated everyone here that Carrah's mom was taken by CPS and she lost custody of ALL her kids, not just Carrah. He doesn't know the details, he just knew it was the perfect opportunity to save his daughter and gain custody of her. He confirmed he has full custodial rights while the mother still has none and they are doing well together. The boyfriend cleaned up his act before the CPS thing and was being a good step-dad to her as well, so peace was there. As for the mom, she's still out of Carrah's life but by her choice. Jessie, being the golden-hearted man he is, has maintained he won't say anything ill about Bracknell and that he won't keep her from her daughter. Apparently the reverse is NOT true.

No. Actually neither of you is correct. If you read the small print when credits roll, it says that Lauren Lake is a lawyer, (license to practice in New York, New Jersey and Michigan.) In this case she is acting as a mediator because she is a ‘relationship expert’. However, none of her decisions are legally binding.
Participants must take her recommendations to the respective state and county courts to have agreements solidified AT HOME. so in other words a judge or mediator in that county court, can decide that although she made her Recommendations, they can throw it all out and decide themselves if they want to.
Again.....this is entertaining television, by no means is any of it binding - read the small print at the end of every episode.
You can tell a lot about this woman by holding that man’s arm the whole time. Terribly manipulative.
For anyone who might see this comment four years after it was posted, Mr. Butterfield now has full custody of his child. He tried getting joint custody and she fled so he couldn't have any time at all. The courts later granted him full custody and she apparently doesn't even see the kid anymore. She's too busy being a sociopath elsewhere.
He was able to get full custody after CPS removed his daughter and the other three from her. I suspect she does not see the others either.

Yep seen this a lot. Court give the child to abusive mom instead of dad. Two month later child die because been beat by the mother and her boyfriend. The court like opsss..thing happened
The saddest part is this guy has YEARS of court battles in front of him and that will only happen if the mother doesn’t disappear with his baby girl. A friend of mine has been fighting to see his son for eight years and has yet to really have visitation despite court orders. It is truly sad. The mother is a vengeful witch and it’s the child that pays the price.
