That tabletop idea sounds cool. Hope something comes from it.

I have some concepts but still needs a lot of work to test play and even make it robust, cause at the moment hexa gears are a bit flimsy and may need some action bases for each of them... So can't see the light just yet 😅

Very good breakdown of the kit, seem interesting and suitable enough for future modifications.
    Do one in the future.

The Hexa Gear line is designed with customisation in mind. I'll probably get it painted too. I have more videos coming up so please stay tuned!

Yeah, these would be perfect for army building, but they cost way too much.
I have several different 'governors' but can't bring myself to buy multiples.
I don't see why they should cost more than $10.USD. They're half the size of a High Grade, but cost more.
Also, I recently painted one and discovered that neither Acrylic or Enamel paint dries on the rubber parts. They just stay sticky forever.
I wish they'd just used all plastic! Luckily, the newer governors seem to be all plastic, and the ball joints seem a bit tighter too.
I just finished that tan-coloured Early Governor and the busty female character, and they look great all painted up.
I prefer the less fantastical designs. The dirtbike is a fun kit too.

Oh ya the busty female is great! :D
But I couldn't bring myself to buy it unfortunately.... Since I'm more active into 3D printing I can actually print one myself and it'll only cost me a few dollar 😂 I'm currently experimenting different articulation system on 3D prints so that hopefully I can refine a perfect joint and make my own 3D printable army 😎

I too am interested in a hexagear tabletop game we should talk, have you ever seen dust tactics? It looks like its rules would be a good base to begin

    • @JettoHobby
      @JettoHobby  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Dust tactics could be a good base rule! Before your suggestion, I was thinking about using something like lite version or battletech as the base rule 😅

@@JettoHobby I saw an image on google months ago that looked like someone had worked out base rules for a hexa gear table top. I've asked on the kotobukiya twitter if this was possible but have gotten no replies. This would really set it apart from gunpla by leaps and bounds I think

I thought this was a 1/144th scale in-line with the RGs of Gundam. And yeah... PRICEY, I would prefer RG GUNDAMS.
    Great Review tho! 😁 👍

Thanks 😊 ya for the price I'll get much more fun out of gundam kits to be honest.
