Very helpful video,, Found that I had a bad key switch and replaced. Now I have a in-line fuse that blows when you switch from tow to run. Red and Pink wire. I have the same club car that you are working on in this video. The red side carries 53 volts. Cart does Not move. Tested motor and that is good. What do you think is blowing the fuse GCWhisper?
Found the issue, prior owner, spliced two wires together in the dash and I overlooked it about 10x’s. The wire hooked into a sonic weld which fed from key switch. Guess that explains why the key switch may have been bad also. Thanks to your video, I was able to determine that pretty quickly. Enjoy your videos as I have watched many of them. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the reply
Great videos. I have a 2016 Club Car (48V) batteries are fully charged (51V) but when turn key on the battery light flashes and car wont move. Every now and then it will start pulsing like it's trying to engage motor. Think it might be the MCOR? Power is getting back to the motor.
If the solenoid clicks in and stays engaged until you let go of the gas check your motor. If you hit the gas in the solenoid, clicks in it, clicks out real fast replace controller If you hit the gas in the solenoid, doesn’t click replace solenoid.
On a 95 DS with a MCOR 4 conversion, when I have the blue & green wire jumpered together on the MCOR, the solenoid clicks whenever I put it in forward or reverse. But cart still doesn’t move when pedal is pressed?
Do this here unhook your Mcor sit in the seat turn the key on and then plug the MCor in. Be ready to hit the brake incase it takes off and let me know what it does.
@@JakeStoverOG unplug the green and yellow wires off the controller and put your volt meter on ohms. And stick one lead into the green wire and the other lead of meter in the yellow wire. Hit the gas and see what it does. Turn key off in meutral
@@32srt32 have you checked your key switch wire see if you have voltage there black lead on main negative red lead on the quiche switch what year your golf cart is it a precedent or DS
@@Golfcartwhisperer yes checked all switches yesterday, have 50v power to all switches. I check the solenoid, both posts have 50v power at all times and doesnt click.
This is the video I've been looking for. Thanks!
Good man glad I could help. Appreciate the comment.
