Thats what i was trying to find for last two years...tnx a lot sir...I was satrted to watch this at maybe 3.50 am in my local time and i was just thinking.. Ohh god am i just killing my time?..and the end of the video it just worth my time. PS-pls make more video like this.
Keep doing this whenever you can. Not many people does product modeling/lighting tutorials. If you can then please do an industrial lighting tutorial as well. :)
Just to add to the comments, The way you show your workflow is great; and absolutely there is nobody that really goes into depth in regards to modelling products. Your videos are much appreciated! A easy subscribe. There wasn't anything particularly difficult in the way you use the tools, every time i view these types of video, it very much comes down to practice with a degree of problem solving. Thanks so much!
This was a great video, I hope to see the rest of this product with the texturing and lighting part as well :) Just a quick tip: at around 13:39 you can hover over the part and press L for selecting loose parts within the same object instead of selecting each face individually.
I'm noting these requests for texturing and lighting. Pressing L does select loose parts withing the same object, that's correct, in this case at 13:39 it was not loose and we only wanted the outer two pieces so we used the "select shortest path" technique instead for quicker selection. Good looking out though. ;-)
Hey you're welcome sir. There were other requests for this and I am noting them. Short answer though, I used the Principled BSDF for the majority of the object and adjusted the roughness and color sliders. For the green part I just turned the transmission to 1 and gave it a color. The leather material is from the Sanctus Material Library.
@@denzelmodeste ohh nice! Yaa was wondering how you got that leather texture. Perhaps some other day, when you get the time, could you also share some tips on rendering. Like, what's your thought process for that. I Definitely struggle with that.
