Holy crap, this video has been a longgg time in the making :) I so missed making character role-plays, it’s been about 2 years since my last :O So I wanted to come back with something strong, and one heavily influenced by a character I have always had a big love for.
Trying to make a video that would show his ways of thinking, his values and warm persona, without conveying too much emotion or expression was certainly a challenge. I like to believe he does experience some sort of emotions, but perhaps does not recognise them fully for what they are ;)
Many weeks were spend making this costume while watching episodes on repeat for research, and while its been a difficult journey to get all the small details just right - constructing the script, getting the phrasing correct, expressions / gestures, I absolutely adored every moment I delved into of studying his personality.
This roleplay has been a challenge to put together for sure, and ultimately reminded me of the huge love I have for the character ♥
I do so hope you love it as much as I do. I’m no actress but I really hope I have done him some justice!

This is fantastic! :D As a fan of Star Trek TNG, I can tell you researched the show well, to get Data's mannerisms and speaking patterns down, not to mention his accent. (You did it so smoothly, you made me completely forget that this isn't your normal accent) :) I liked all the dozens of little references to various episodes and movies peppered throughout the video too. Have mercy! One of my favorite ASMR artists cosplays as one of my favorite characters from the TV show I'm religiously obsessed with! I can die happy now; which is an ironic expression, as TNG pretty much saved my life during a dark time.

Do a Data mission debrief, like he just got back from some harrowing( or not harrowing) mission and has to tell the commander about it.
Normally I listen to ASMR videos in the background, but this one deserved my full attention. You nailed Data.

The best one I've seen so far for a Star Trek inspired ASMR Roleplay. It's not easy to see the yellow eyes since watching the Synths on Star Trek: Picard, but the cosplay and mannerisms on this are awesome...Data and Soji would be quite proud.
I have found this experience most relaxing. It would make sense that there would be a part two.

Revisiting again because I’m so in love - and I don’t know if this is of any value for you, but studied acting and these are some amazing skills you display. I wouldn’t have been surprised in the least to find out that you’re an actor, too. It really shows that you studied your character well, and that you have high appreciation for him.
