- A closer look my buddy his modern Rolex watch collection. And he is actually the one that got me into watches .... Spoiler Alert. It's all Rolex. A starbucks, aka the cermit, the Rolex Batman , or should I say Batgirl ... a gorgeous Daytona in everose gold and somewhere along the way he picked up his daily beater, the Submariner date. Sorry I got a bit carried away with the thumbnail & video title ... I hope you are here for the right reason, and you like watches just like me. I know it’s a bit late for an on point comment however much like your friend in the last 3 years I have been fortunate to pick up 5 Sports model watches from my AD. A bi metal Black Sub and Black Daytona and an Airking, a Starbucks Sub and recently the latest Panda Daytona. I do have other watches but I haven’t been coerced to buy anything other than on my wish list. Only Rolex left for me is that gorgeous Polar Explorer 2 you have or if they relaunch the Coke.
My first rolex at AD was a milgauss z blue and second watch a rootbeer. At the time, both models traded slightly lower on secondary market and is probably the reason why I got on the list. I sent an email, they had no clue who I was or any way to assess me as a person. So I guess miracles do happen

Class video. I hear you on the Z-blue. I was fortunate enough to pick up one last summer after almost 1 year wait & love it. Thankfully too was allocated the Cermit last month. Will be interesting to see the fate of these at WnWs. I have my fingers-crossed for you that you get a Milgauss 👍🏻

Nice video, my favorite I already have through gray market purchasing. Sea Dweller 43mm 50th anniversary, Two Tone Sea Dweller 43mm and the Skydweller Blue Dial. I’ve been 4 on the wait list for the Polar Explorer II at 3 different ADs in NY and Miami FL, no call, I never had a call from Rolex, and won’t expect one anytime soon 🤷🏻♂️, but good luck on your Milgauss 👍🏽

Great video, thank you for sharing. So many of my favorite Rolex's in one video! Lol. I have the Batman, and am looking to add the Polar Explorer II this year. Hopefully the Starbucks is not discontinued and I can pick one up from the AD next year.

I'm waiting on an Explorer II primarily, with a GMT Master II "Batman" just down the list from the black or polar dial Explorer II. We will see how long it takes. It's closing in on 4 months, which is not too long in the Rolex scheme of things, sadly. That is really impressive that you got the GMT Master that "quickly'." I figured it would take several years. As for what I would like to see out this year, I think the return of a "Coke" GMT Master II would be amazing. The Milgauss is either due for a freshening or being killed off. I don't know which is going to happen. I would love to see more Explorer I varieties, including a larger version. That is very much wishful thinking though. I would also like to see an additional steel Submariner color. I think the sizing is absolutely perfect on my wrist and I get why people love them, but the black dial is a bit unexciting and the green bezel isn't for me. It is frustrating that they have blue on the gold models.
My waiting days are over 😉 And no worries about the Z-blue…you’ll get that call soon 👍
