Great video, that is exactly what need to do to mine...I won't need the tape because mine is so crooked I need to get it close to straight, now I know how. Thanks
@dreamingcode thanks for subbing and the support. Good luck on the 69 f100. One of the best parts of having these old Fords is working on them yourself.
Absolutely excellent, informative, clear detail instructions, great photography, very helpful. I have a 72 F-250. Much appreciate your efforts in producing this educational video. 🛻. Enjoyed the background music. Who is the artist? 👍🏻 🎼🎹👍🏻😉🙏🏻🇺🇸🙏🏻🇺🇸🙏🏻🇺🇸
@King Richard l thanks for the kind comment. Happy to hear you found the video helpful. Makes it worth it. The song is from the TH-cam playlist. It is “After thought “ by Density and Time.
@Aaron Snouffer on my 66 Mustang the adapter goes in between the steering wheel and the steering column. So by removing the adapter you can just reinstall a factory steering wheel. Not positive it is the same. Hope that helps
I love the yellow tape idea to line it up. That's a good tip. I've always screwed that up.
Awesome. Glad to hear it helped you out. Thanks for watching

So I am removing an after market steering wheel from my 66 f100. Seems to be an adapter. Any suggestions?

will this steering wheel fit my 1978 f150?
@Jason Sosa honestly I am not sure if it would fit that year. The catalogs have it listed for 61-70 f100
